This gorgeous 2-bedroom, 2-1/2 bath condo with a loft office and den with sleeper sofa is situated in Santa Monica’s most upscale neighborhood. Located on 16th Street just steps from glamorous Montana Avenue, it's smack in the heart of boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, cafes and yogurt stores - you can’t get any better than this!

Furnished in mid-century modern décor, this multi-level 1,800 sq. foot home is significantly larger than standard 2-bedroom condos. It's so spacious, there's room for everyone to spread out. It's sparkling clean with a tranquil feel making it comfortable to relax in. All rooms feature new hotel bed linens, down comforters and TV & DVD players.

The master bedroom features a California king bed, remodeled marble bathroom with a double sink and 2-headed shower and a walk-in closet. Upstairs in the loft office, you'll have wireless high-speed internet access. Off the loft, relax or dine on the rooftop patio.

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a bathtub/shower, while the den provides a Panasonic 50" flat screen TV and modern sofa/sleeper bed with a back that folds down into a comfortable full bed. This is NOT a pull-out bed w/ a metal bar jabbing you in the back!

New luxurious, plush white towels are in every bathroom. Kitchen includes All-Clad pots and pans, Wusthof knives, Crate & Barrel dishes and every cooking utensil imaginable! The filtered water spout means you don't have to buy bottled water.

Property sleeps 6 comfortably in beds.

Two more patios decorated with beautiful plants are located off the main floor for outdoor dining or relaxing. Ample street parking is available and with the two parking permit passes you can park without time restrictions.

- 20 minute walk to the beach for swimming, biking, roller blading or walking.
- 20 minute walk to the Third Street Promenade for shopping, dining and entertainment (movies).
- 30 minute walk (5 min drive) to the Santa Monica pier for amusement park rides and games for children.

Easy access to the Pacific Coast Highway north to Malibu or south to the beach communities. Close to public transportation and freeway access, 5 minute drive to the 10 and 405. LAX is about 25 minutes away.

    • My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week. The location is super convenient, whether you plan on playing tourist, shopper, foodie, nightcrawler, beach bum or all/some of the above The property itself is luxuriously appointed, clean and in good working order. No weird, idiosyncratic rules apply. The owner was very professional and easy to communicate with. She was available whenever you needed assistance and out of sight when you didn't.

We have just returned from a two week stay in this excellent property and could not fault it. The owner, Sharon, is very helpful and I would stongly recommend anyone visiting Santa Monica to stay here. It was fantastic

    • My husband and I and our 3 teenagers stayed here over winter vacation 2008. This was our third VRBO rental and it was by far our best experience. The townhouse was not only beautifully decorated but was also large enough for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with a very comfortable adjacent dining room at which to eat meals. I especially loved the living room and fireplace. After a long day of sightseeing our family gathered there to hang out and talk and the atmosphere was so conducive for great "family time"; so difficult to get at home with everyone's busy schedules. There was a TV in each bedroom so people could watch their own programs if they wished. My 2 boys shared the upstairs bedroom and my daughter had her own "suite" downstairs. The owner was great. I had a lot of contact with her prior to our trip. She even helped us plan our itinerary. She met us the night we arrived and showed us everything and let us know how to reach her if we had any questions. The townhouse was just off a main street with a lot of fun shops and cafes and my kids enjoyed walking over a couple of times to get a Starbucks. It was in a great area and close to points of interest and interstates. I highly recommend this rental. We thought it was great.
