This gorgeous 2-bedroom w/den and sleeper sofa, 2-1/2 bath condo with a loft office is situated in Santa Monica's most upscale neighborhood. Located on 16th Street JUST STEPS from Montana Avenue, the charming tree-lined, open-air retail area with more than 150+ high-end boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, cafes and yogurt stores. It's one of the best walking streets in all of LA - you can't get any better than this! Really!

Furnished in mid-century modern décor, this multi-level 2,000 sq. foot home is significantly larger than standard 2-bedroom condos. It's so spacious, there's room for everyone to spread out. It's clean with a tranquil feel making it comfortable to relax in, especially in front of the living room's fireplace in the winter. And there's wireless high-speed internet access throughout the house.

All rooms feature new hotel bed linens, down comforters and a TV. The master bedroom features a California king bed, remodeled marble bathroom with a double sink, 2-headed shower and a walk-in closet. Upstairs in the master bedroom is a loft office, and off the loft, you can relax or dine on the large rooftop patio where, if you stand, you can see the ocean!

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a bathtub/shower, while the den has a TV and modern sofa/sleeper bed with a back that folds into a comfortable full bed. This is NOT a pull-out bed w/ a metal bar jabbing you in the back!

Luxurious, plush white towels are in every bathroom. The kitchen's filtered water spout means you don't have to buy bottled water.

Property sleeps 6 comfortably in beds.

Two more patios decorated with beautiful plants are located off the main floor for outdoor dining or relaxing. Ample street parking is available and with the two parking permit passes you can park without time restrictions.

- 20 minute walk to the Third Street Promenade for shopping, dining and entertainment (movies).
- 5 min drive to the Santa Monica pier for amusement park rides and games for kids.

I'm a writer and I'm athletic so living in Santa Monica is heaven to me. I'm inspired by Santa Monica's beauty, sunshine and amazing weather. With temps in the 70's year-round, it's ideal for being outdoors all the time!

Why the Owner Chose Santa Monica

We bought this house because we HAD to live in Santa Monica, the greatest place on earth! Everyone in LA loves Santa Monica, and if they say they don't, they're just jealous b/c there's nothing not to like! 16th Street is especially fabulous because it's on the top of a hill so there's a view of Montana Ave. Our townhouse is only 20 steps away from this hip street.

The Unique Benefits of this Condo

If you like to walk out the front door and be near stores, cafes, restaurants and dessert places, you can't get any better than this! And if you're not into shopping, Montana Ave is still a great block to people watch while walking to the beach. You can run or bike on the beach's bike strand or on San Vicente Blvd. If you have work to do, stay in as the neighborhood is QUIET and peaceful. The house is a 30-second walk to Starbucks, Peet's, Whole Foods, Pinkberry and other restaurants galore. If you like Santa Monica half as much as I LOVE it, you'll have an amazing time! Stayed here with our 18 month old. Perfect for us and all our needs. Location is prime. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance as well as our favorite grocery store- whole foods. Also lots of space and big bedrooms, great family room and hdtv. Sharon easy to deal.

Great Place to Rent!!!

Spent 8 days with a family of 5 and had a great time. Walk to Pink Berry, Starbucks, and most of Santa Monica. Loved the Montanna Ave area, very upscale, and felt safe at all hours. The beach is a short drive and there is plenty of parking for a minimal charge. The beach rents everything from chairs to surf boards and wet suits, even has a great lunch. Sharon is the perfect host! You will love and enjoy your stay at her home. It has everything you need including laundry with detergent, AC if you need it, and a fully stocked kitchen. Can't say enough about how awesome this place is.

fabulous location - steps off montana avenue - quiet residential location, perfect for those wanting easy access to busy ocean avenue/third street promenade without all the noise and traffic. gorgeous master suite. kitchen is extremely well-stocked. great tv's in master and den. nice linens and towels. parking is easy. sharon is extremely helpful with planning your trip (even provides grocery store discount cards for use during your stay). highly recommended.

Clean, spacious condo in safe, terrific location

We stayed in Sharon's condo from 4/1 to 4/8; two adults and three teens. The condo was perfect for us space-wise, and being nitpicky people about cleanliness, we were very pleased with the overall condition of the condo. The master bedroom is loft style, spacious, wonderful-for-a-getaway, with newly remodeled bathroom. The second bedroom, with its own private bathroom, is fine for kids. Living, dining, kitchen area are all spacious and clean; and flat screen TVs are all new! This is our second time staying in Santa Monica, and we preferred this location over the location we were in last summer. Right off Montana Avenue, there are multiple coffee shops, quirky, upscale clothing shops, and a lot of unique restaurants to choose from. In addition, the area is so, so pretty. Sharon is very nice to deal with...honest, easy-going, knows what she's doing. It's hard sometimes to make a choice over the Internet because you really don't know what you are getting, even with photos. But this condo is a very good choice.

The townhome was absolutely PERFECT. My family and I stayed here for over a months time and felt right at home. The owner has thought of every detail- from the well stocked kitchen to the bathroom- nothing was left unturned. The location was FABULOUS. Easy access to many LA hot spots. It was so much fun to just walk right out the door and to either grab a quick coffee, shop or have a nice lunch or dinner. The owner went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and gave us some great ideas on what to see/do in LA. Five stars!!!!

Very nice place to stay. Every detail is accurately described and Sharon was very helpful with places to eat and things to do. Very clean and comfortable. Parking may be challenging at times. I would definitely stay again. Many great restaurants and shops nearby as well as the beach.

This townhouse rental was perfect for our 4 day trip to the Santa Monica / L.A. area. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home - fully equiped kitchen, good size living room area, separate entertainment room, and large master bedroom suite. The location was also perfect with just a 5 to 10 min drive to the beach, the Santa Monica Pier, and the 3rd Street Promenade. It was also just walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and stores/boutiques. The owner of the property was very pleasant and accomodating to meet us on the day we arrived, and was readily available for questions or whenever we needed to reach her during our stay. We definitely got our money's worth and enjoyed our stay tremendously. I would strongly recommend this rental property for anyone wanting a nice and "no worries" place to stay in the Santa Monica area.
