I would highly recommend this property. The house is so cute and clean and in the best location. The beds were comfortable, the A/C worked great, the ceiling fans were a bonus and the kitchen was well equipped. The house is a very short walk to the beach and very close to many restaurants and outdoor shopping malls. The ocean is nothing like I have seen anywhere else in Florida. The water was crystal clear and the sand was like white powder. So many beach activities to keep you busy. My kids loved renting a paddle board. I am hooked on Destin now. Why go to the Islands when you can go to Destin. The owners of the home were great to work with and always got back to me with answers to my questions. There was even fresh flowers on the kitchen table when we arrived. Our time in Destin with our family will be a vacation we will never forget. We loved it so much that we hope to own a vacation home there someday. Oh and the fact that we were able to bring our small dogs was perfect. We don't like traveling without them and thankfully we don't have to.

This house was the ultimate beach cottage getaway! It had every luxury we needed. Our children loved being so close to the beach and I loved sitting on the front porch and soaking up the sun and salty air! The vibe on the house was incredible and I felt the presence of The Holy Spirit! Robin was a delight to work with and we will look forward to coming back and enjoying this house again. It was a slice of heaven!

Robin, Thanks again for sharing your wonderful home with us, this was our 2nd stay in this house in 2 years and we absolutely love the house, the location and everything about it. It has great access to the beach, you can even leave your umbrella and chairs down on the beach while you go back the house for lunch and nobody bothers your stuff, when you come back it is just as you left it. The house has everything you need, we even cooked several meals at the house and did a little baking......... There were 10 of us this time ranging from 19 to 76 years old and we all had an amazing time. You are only minutes away from Luther's where we always rent a pontoon boat for the day and ride around the bay, see the amazing wild dolphins, along with a trip to crab Island. We especially loved our mornings sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs and having our coffee. Once again, Thank you! Lori Murphy

This was our first trip to Destin and hopefully it won't be our last. The house is in a great location, both in relation to the beach and to other activities. It truly is a super short walk to gorgeous beaches. The photos on the site very accurately represent the house and we found it comfortable and roomy enough for five adults and two kids. The decor was very nice and the house was clean and had everything we needed. Robin was a delight to work with and answered my many questions with patience. We liked the neighborhood a lot, too. If we go again, I hope it will be at a slightly different time of year, because traffic was pretty bad on the main drag while we were there. Other than that it was great trip.

My husband and I have vacationed numerous times in Destin. We have always stayed in condos that are beachfront. Last week, we did a family trip that included my sister's family. So, there were 7 of us staying at the beach house. This included four adults, my eight-year-old niece and two eighteen-year-olds. First, let me say that this house is beautiful. The decor is tasteful and has the seaside ambience without being gaudy. There was room for the adults in 2 bedrooms downstairs and for all the kids upstairs. It was nice to have the two eighteen-year-old girls stay in the loft room and sleep on the trundle bed as they stayed up all night. In addition to the two families in the beach house, my husbands sister and her family with two friends stayed in a condo around the block from us. They were able to walk over and visit (2 adults, 4 teens) and the house was large enough to accommodate them in the large living room. The kitchen is also large and had plenty of seating. We only wish that the gas grill had propane because we might have grilled, but that is not a big deal. Just a note as to how comfortable the house was that we might have even considered eating a meal in at night. We really never do that on vacation. The location is perfect. You are one house off the old highway 98 and directly across from a public access. Our walk to the beach took minutes and was less than when I've stayed in some condos right on the beach. We rented beach chairs and umbrella from the beach vendor for the entire week. Cost: $30 daily or a discounted rate of $125 for a week prepaid. The house does come with some beach chairs, but we prefer to lounge beneath an umbrella and not carry chairs back and forth. My sister is an avid exerciser and was able to do exercise in the living area as well as run several miles in a safe environment (sidewalks all day old 98). I also had internet access which was important to me. I would definitely stay in this home again and hope I get the chance soon!

This beach retreat is just terrific. So very close to the beach and yet in a wonderful neighborhood. Although cool for us this time of year, we still were able to walk on the beach every day as well as walk to Starbucks. Every type of shopping and restaurants are within just a mile or two. The plasma television was great for watching football. We were looking for a place to meet up with our son stationed in Okinawa, who was able to take some training at Hulburt Field. This house, home for a few days, was relaxing and spacious. Robin is wonderful to work with and the house was as advertised. I really enjoyed the Destin area. The beaches are beautiful!

Great location any time of year in Destin. The house has everything, and is laid out for family fun. We had a family get together, cooked and had dining room for 6 adults and 4 children. If your coming for a beach vacation , this is the place to stay. One house from Scenic 98, then accross the street to the beach access. The kids loved their bedrooms, and the crows nest gave us a great view.

We loved it!!!! Owners very professional and kind. Very attentive in communicating. Just the way every beach home experience should be. We're so thankful we stayed here!

Thank you Robin for letting us stay at your beautiful home. Your decor is very tasteful. There is plenty of room and extras that you may need such as blankets and pillows and yes the beach is only a 60 sec walk. The drive way is a little narrow for big trucks but thats just the little things in life. The home is as describes and I am planning to come back in summer.... Thanks again!!

Hi Robin, We had a wonderful time at your rental. The house looked just like the pictures, is very tastefully decorated, and feels so homey, like it's your own house, not just a vacation home. Everything you need or that the owners thought you may need are there. Robin couldn't have been any nicer or accomodating, and she answered all my questions with patience. We received my daughters makeup bag. Thank you so much!! It was truly a pleasure dealing with such nice, honest people.

Robin, I wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us for our family vacation. Your home is simply lovely and was very comfortable. My mom and I took lots of photos of the décor to show to our friends. (we're so silly) We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. I believe I can speak for my entire family when I say, we were sad for our time to be over so quickly. Again, thanks so much! ~Niki

we just got back from our stay at this wonderful house and i am hesitant to leave such a raving review, only because i don't want to risk others booking it year round, leaving us to never have availability for it in the future! :-) this house was the perfect spot for my family for the week. it is decorated beautifully and is so cozy you just don't want to leave. the rainy day was even enjoyable because it made for some heavy eyelids with that tin roof! Robin, thank you for being so hospitable, and so easy to work with. we will most definitely be back!

Our family had a very relaxing stay and the beach was fantastic. We recommend that you understand the city's guidelines on public beach access before heading to the beach. This property was exactly as described and does have a great location. Not only is it a 60 second walk from the beach, it is also only minutes away from great restaurants and shopping. The owners were very quick to respond to our inquiries and all transactions were fast and easy. We did have one incident with the A/C, but the owners responded quickly and it was only a minor incovenience. All in all, we had a great time...including our basset hound.
Owner response:Thanks for bringing up a good point about our public beaches! The beach is available to all public use. Sometimes the beach front homes or condos want their own space but the Destin city guidelines allow all vacationers to enjoy the gorgeous coastline.

This property was everything that the description gave plus so much more. Not only was the house incredible, the location could not have been any better. With beach access so close, scooter and waverunner rentals within walking distance, and restaraunts and stores all so close, this is a property I plan on renting again. The owner was quick to respond to emails and gave very detailed instructions on things to do. A true paradise only yards from the beach...

This house is a must for your next beach trip..... It is about a block to the beach and you can see the beach access from the sidewalk of the house!!! It is convienent to shopping, the beach, earing, everything you can imagine!! All the rooms were nice and the house was very clean... Internet connection was perfect. The only thing is the drive way is VERY small so if you have a large vehicle it might be a tight squeeze. Other than that it was a great vacation. Would def stay again

Hi Robin. Just wanted to let you know that we arrived late today and could not be happier with your home. It is even more lovely than advertised, by you. Also wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay an extra day. It was a godsend to be able to come a day earlier given the weather in the midwest. We are so happy with your place that we would like you to consider renting it to again next year for approximately the same time period and then for 2 or 3 months the following year, after my wife retires. I assure you we will treat your home like it is our own. Thanks again, R. W.
