There are 4 queen beds plus queen fold out couch, one twin bed, plus floor pads for extra sleeping arrangements. With the excellent location, views, all linens provided, full kitchen, satellite TV and NOW HAVE INTERNET AT THE HOME. Year Purchased: 1984
Rick bought this log home in 1982 when working at the Yosemite Climbing School. He lived in the home until moving to the Eastern Sierra when he then could make the home into a vacation rental home. Rick cares for the home diligently as it is clean,
well maintained and he refers to the home as "The Mansion" as it is a spacious true
Yosemite home.
Why the Owner Chose Yosemite National Park
It is unique to own a home INSIDE Yosemite National Park and homes as such are very very limited.
Rick bought this home because of his life long love of Yosemite as well as his employment there, the excellent location, and the rural history of Foresta is very appealing.

What a Great Cabin!

The perfect place for our cousins' getaway. The cabin is spacious, comfortable and the view and location were perfect - only 11 miles to the Valley and the drive is beautiful. The pictures don't do the cabin justice - it is a "real" cabin constructed of logs, with a great wood stove. The cabin is well-stocked with everything from comfy patio chair cushions to a really great garlic press. We so enjoyed many hours on the deck talking, eating and taking pictures. On our final morning, 3 deer ran through the property as if to say 'good-bye'. We'll be back!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
