New, 4700 sq. ft. log home on 4 private acres. Only a 15-minute drive to Snowbasin, 25 minutes to Powder Mountain, and just a few minutes to the famous Shooting Star Saloon in Huntsville and the Pineview Reservoir. Year-round outdoor recreation!
Your family will feel right at home in this warm, beautifully-appointed 4-bedroom lodge, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out after a day on the slopes. Relax by the fire (both upstairs and downstairs) after skiing as you take in the view of Ogden Valley and Snow Basin, which can be seen from every room in the house. Watch for the abundant wildlife... try to spot deer, elk, moose, foxes, wild turkeys, hawks and eagles.
Our main floor features a large, open great room with a fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a grand piano. It opens to the dining room and large kitchen. The master suite is also located on the main level, as is a mud room (for all those wet ski clothes), powder room, laundry room and 2-car garage. Upstairs are two very large bedrooms, another full bath and an office area in the loft overlooking the great room. Set your laptop up in the office to print out your boarding passes (wireless internet provided.)
Downstairs is a perfect environment for your kids, with a large, sunny bunk room that sleeps six (the deer come right up to the window!), an adjacent living area with a second fireplace, 65" TV with cable, surround-sound, VCR, DVD player, and I-Pod port; a game room with foosball and ping pong, plus plenty of board games and a library for those family evenings after a day of skiing, hiking, biking or antiquing.

Owner Description
We live in Coronado, California, but have always taken family ski vacations, and always wanted a permanent place in the mountains. We swapped a timeshare for a ski week in Ogden Valley, and that Friday we ended up buying this lot!
Why the Owner Chose Snowbasin
This valley is very unique for the following reasons: two fantastic ski resorts, unbelievable beauty in a very rural setting, water sports in the summer, yet easy access from Salt Lake. We can leave our home in San Diego in the morning and ski that afternoon.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our house is large, yet warm and cozy. Coming from the city, we relish in the beauty of the view of the whole valley, which changes by the minute with the sun moving over the course of the day. We enjoy spotting the wildlife as we sip our morning coffee, seeing who can count the most deer on the hillside.
