What a gorgeous, relaxing place to vacation! The house is beautiful. The fully appointed kitchen, kids' toys and books, and ping pong table provided our group with a great place to unwind after a day at the beach. We loved being seconds away from the beach during the day and stargazing from the upstairs porch to the sound of crashing waves at night. The owners are helpful and responsible. We didn't want to leave Bald Head Island, or Inn Denial!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Just finished a great weeks' stay at Inn Denial. Great hosts (very responsive and professional) who have thought of just about everything one would need in a beach house. Well located house, very bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. We had two families and did not feel the least bit crowded. It's maybe a two minute walk to the beach via a wooden boardwalk system and the beach is gorgeous and never crowded; great to shower off outside in the private outdoor shower after a long day in the sun. Lots of toys and games for the younger set, especially the preschool aged boys. Brand new washer/dryer was a nice plus. We would definitely rent it again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This was our third trip to BHI and we'll be challenged to find a better home than this one. The location is great, both on the beach and not too far a ride to the ferry, the clubs, and the stores. The home is kept very clean and organized, and every detail was thought out for us. The golf carts were new, as were the bikes, and the outdoor shower was such a huge plus as came in from the beach. The owner runs the process professionally which is so reassuring when one is taking a full week vacation! Thank you.

We've been visiting BHI for decades...and have always held a preference for the Flora's Bluff / Killegray Ridge area along South beach. In 2004 we purchased this property with no intention of placing it on the rental market. For that reason, you'll find no comments (to date) in this guest book. For that same reason, you can rest assured that we have taken great care of and made many improvements to our "home away from home." As Wilmington residents, we've seized every opportunity to make Inn Denial a comfortable / kid friendly place to build memories. And as Wilmington residents, should you need us for anything, you can take comfort in knowing that we are only an hour away. We welcome you to our escape from reality. We only ask that you respect, appreciate, savor and enjoy it as much as we do!
