The studio cottage was perfect for my husband and I's week on Oahu. It was cozy and comfortable. Just what we needed for our home base. We enjoyed having our breakfast out on the patio while listening to the birds. The neighborhood was very quiet. Everything was very clean and worked great! We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were quick to respond to our e-mails and were very helpful by providing additional pictures of the cottage. The cottage was well maintained and looked just like the pictures. We loved the lanai and the huge walk-in closet! The yummy oranges that were given to us made the best juice for our breakfast! It was the perfect home base for our visit with our soon to be deployed son! The added bonus of getting to see one of the Billabong surf competitions while we were there just made our trip that much more memorable! We will return! Thanks!!

The owners of this lovely unit helped make our first visit to the North Shore of O'ahu so pleasant. They were friendly, quick to respond via email, and welcoming when we arrived. They gave us helpful directions and suggestions for places to visit and eat in the area. Their rental space was private and well furnished, and what a beautiful view--such lush green! One of our favorite parts of this stay was the peaceful solitude of the mornings: When we went outside to the lanai each morning, all we could hear was birdsong (and the occasional chicken!). We just loved it. Mahalo for your hospitality!

This a real value for two people. My wife and I really enjoyed the cottage. All we needed was on location; amenities were many. It is off the "beaten" track. It was VERY clean. Also a good location to explore the 'North Shore'. Laurel and I exchanged several Emails and she answered every question. Don't be put off that there is not an oven. There are hot plates to heat pans and an excellent gas grill to cook on and heat food. I used it every night. We will go back.

Beautiful cottage, very well appointed and comfortable. My boyfriend and I had no idea what a perfect spot this was going to be! Minutes from the Polo Club, historic Haleiwa and the old sugar factory. We cooked in (grilled out, rather) each evening and went in to town for coffee. The cottage is located at the end of a road, as far away as you could be from busy-ness with a view of the mountains and fields on the other side of the street. The lanai is wonderful, a great place to sit and have a drink and enjoy dinner while looking at the mountains. The cottage is clean, and spacious enough for two. Luxurious shower and closet. The cottage has its own wireless internet connection, making it easy for me to conduct business away from home. This is the perfect place if you prefer to be in a quiet setting. The photos do not do justice to the space-- it is very nice, and beautiful, and you will not be disappointed! The owners are attentive, friendly and very easy to deal with.

My wife and I stayed here in October 2010 and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Laurel and John are great hosts. The cottage is about the size of a large studio and is nicely appointed, tastefully decorated, and very clean. It's close to all the great beaches on the North Shore and Haleiwa is just a few minutes away. Suggestions: The deli next to the grocery store makes great sandwiches and cookies...excellent for picnics on the beach. Check out the farmer's market on Sunday. Grass Skirt Grill is worth a look. Romy's....yummy. Bottom line...great low-key place to stay and I'd come back in a heartbeat.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in November 2009 and had such an amazing time. It's such a cute cottage with great amenities - including air-con, cable, bathtub, huge walk-in closet, a huge bed and pretty much everything you might possibly need in the kitchen! It looks exactly like the pictures show. It's in a very quite street with beautiful mountain views and only a few minutes drive from various beaches and the nearby town of Haleiwa. Laurel was so friendly and helpful and gave us great suggestions of beaches to go to and places to eat. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip. Thanks Laurel for making our trip so enjoyable!

Our stay in September 2009 was wonderful because the cottage is located in a neighborhood. A view of a mountain and minutes away from the beaches plus the weather was perfect.

What a rare find. Our Cozy Cottage accommodations were just what we were looking for. Quiet, quaint, surrounded by the beautiful North Shore country...away from the "noise" of town. We slipped into island time quickly and had a very relaxing visit...especially after my surf sessions in Hale'iwa. Mahalo to John and Laurel for a job well done as our hosts. We will definitely return soon. Aloha...Keoni

The Cozy Cottage was very Cozy indead. It was the perfect getaway for our first holiday on our own without the child. We arrived late at night and Laurel was there to greet us and made us instantly welcome at her home. Not until the morning did we discover the spectacular scenery WOW what a place to stay. Perfect for the north shore, close enough to the beaches and towns with just a short drive away. The cottage had everything you would require for self catering and Laurel assured us that if it wasn't there she could get it. The native birds really do make beautiful sounds singing in the morning. We will return as there is so much more to explore in this area.

This cottage is adorable! We loved waking up to the sounds songbirds and seeing the sun set behind beautiful mountains. The cottage is located in a terrific area- close to everything but in a peaceful spot. The decor is lovely with fresh flowers, plush towels and soft sheets. Having an air conditioner was really nice after a day at the beach. This was my first experience using this site and I was a little worried but our hosts could not have been nicer or more professional. They responded to my emails quickly and made all the terms of our stay clear from the outset. You will not be disappointed in this cottage! It really made our first vacation to Hawaii special.
