Beautifully decorated authentic log cabin provides the perfect setting for family adventures, girls getaways, mens golf outings or romantic mountain retreats. One of only four log cabins on the mountain, our home offers you a truly unique Wintergreen experience.
The first floor has large great room, wood burning stove, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, laundry area and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed. There is also a separate den on this level for the kids to relax while the adults enjoy their après ski time. Off the kitchen there is a screened in porch and back deck perfect for family cookouts.
The second floor offers 3 bedrooms – one with a queen and two that each have two twins. The second bath is on this floor.

We fell in love with this cabin while living in VA and purchased it for family weekend get-a-ways. We enjoyed 2 years of wonderful weekends skiing, tubing and hiking during the winter months and swimming, golfing, horse back riding, playing tennis and hiking the Appalachian trials in the summer. Wintergreen offers wonderful facilities for families (we have 2 children), couples looking for a romantic weekend, girls (SPA) or guys weekends skiing or golfing.
When a change in jobs moved us to Upstate NY we just couldn't part with our family get-a-way so we decided to place it on the VRBO for others to enjoy. Call us for more details and we will do all we can to make your Wintergreen experience truly memorable!

Hey Maureen: Thanks for your follow up. We had a great time up at your cabin. The weather did not cooperate Tuesday and Wednesday, but we welcomed the rain and cool temps. The hikes and sites were great. Saw deer, black bear, and beautiful cloud formations on and over the mountains. Your cabin is very nice and very comfortable. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your cabin, and we would love to return again next year. We wished we stayed one more night to allow us to attend the Music Festival that was happening on the day of our departure. We love the magic that Wintergreen offers.

Maureen, We thoroughly enjoyed your cabin and our trip to Wintergreen! We hiked the current AT to the overlook and also hiked the old AT to Smokin Falls and thoroughly enjoyed both. This is third summer we've returned to the cabin-its our favorite summer get away. The cabin looks beautifully rustic from the outside but inside it has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Well stocked kitchen for cooking great dinners. Large combined livingroom and kitchen/dining area with a classic cask iron wood stove. Screened in three season porch on the side leading out to a deck in back. Just a perfect cabin set up for a good sized group of eight or just a couple away for a weekend. The AT trail is literally a stones throw from the front door and the ski slopes and other recreational facilities are just two miles down road. We highly recommend the cabin for anyone looking to get away for a relaxing, easy few days on the mountain top at Wintergreen.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The cabin was great and well equipped. We really enjoyed the cooking gear and all the facilities. Weather was fantastic. Hiked a bunch and had lunch at DB.
