It also has a lovely covered terrace where you can sit and enjoy the trade winds and a cold drink before retiring for the evening. When you finally slip into bed after your fun filled day you can leave the doors open so the gentle waves can lull you to sleep.
The second bedroom suite is located on the ground floor, offering additional privacy and deluxe accommodations. The great room opens directly on to a large covered beach front terrace, featuring an ideal place for al fresco dining while watching cruise ships and mega yachts pass by. The description and pictures of this property and very accurate. The owner was excellent with answering questions. Casa Carib is within minutes of the airport (number one plus for us!) and the property is beautiful, clean and seems very new. Everything you need is in the kitchen. The pool is nice and the view of the bay is extraordinary. Every night we enjoyed a glass of wine and the most incredible sunsets right on our patio. An important part of a vacation to us is a comfortable bed. The mattress was excellent and we both slept very well while we were there. Simpson Bay is nice and in a good location for traveling to other parts of the island. Although the condo is connected to three other condos, the patio is private and inside the condo it is completely quiet and peaceful. I would not suggest families with young children stay here because there is no fence around the pool; but it is perfect for families with teens! If we return to St. Martin we will definitely consider staying at Casa Carib again!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I just returned from a 2 week stay at Casa Carib. This condo is amazing, very comfortable and a well stocked kitchen. There is a gas grill and grocery right nearby. This condo is in a very small building, so it's quiet and calm. The pool is steps away, so it was nice to be able to go in and out for drinks or snacks. The Beach is also just steps away, the sounds of the waves in the evenings was lovely. The Beach is great to walk, there are some rocks in the water, so I would recommend water shoes. We so enjoyed watching the boats coming and going. There were many restaurants and 2 grocerys nearby. Simpson bay is a great home base, easy to get to any beach for the day and casa Carib is just wonderful to return home to in the evenings to relax and enjoy the pool. Pelican Marina nearby is full of fun activities, sailboat trips etc and Bucineers has great Pizza, try it!!! and don't miss Pineapple Pete's for dinner, amazing food and fun. We recently spent 11 nights at Casa Carib, Simpson Bay. Our expectations were high and yet they were exceeded in every way. As another reviewer said, the pictures don’t do the property justice. The inside of the unit exceeds any rental unit that we have ever seen. The condo had everything from a gourmet kitchen with all possible amenities and supplies, to comfortable furniture that made you feel right at home, to a large flat screen TV with the full range of channels and wireless internet. The staff that manage the unit were responsive in every way. The cleaning staff come in frequently and did a great job. More important, the view of the Caribbean from the two decks was magnificent as was the beach. The pool and the beach were only steps from the back porch! The unit is a five minute drive from numerous great restaurants and stores where you can pick up any food supplies you might need. The unit comes stocked with all the other supplies you would ever want. We absolutely intend to return and have recommended the unit to many of our friends in Southern California.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Carib, Simpson Bay Aug 2010 for 10 nights. Our expectations were extremely high and all were pleasantly exceeded. The pictures don’t do the property justice and the location was perfect for a romantic getaway. (Might be too quiet if you have kids) The condo lacked nothing from gourmet kitchen and all possible amenities, to comfortable furniture that made you feel right at home. We rented a car and used the condo as a home base from which to explore the island. Nothing is very far once you learn your way around and Simpson Bay has so much to offer within 5 minutes of home. Amanda makes all travel confirmations a breeze. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks so much. Best beach – Ilet Pinel. Best Sunset - Maho Beach @ Sunset Beach Bar and Grill. ( Watch the planes take off and land here.) Best beach bar – Karakter on Simpson Bay. (Worth the walk - great people watching) Best BBQ- Jimbos in Simpson Bay. Great Dinner w/View in Simpson Bay – Bel Mar (try the Keshe Yeni).
