Enjoy the slopes at Jay Peak this winter! The house has a river running along the property, sleeps 8 comfortably, is very cozy and warm with a woodstove and is fully equipped with high speed wireless internet, phone, cable TV, VCR, etc. Plenty of parking.
The house is located right in the center of town, a 2 minute walk to a bar with live music every weekend, a supermarket, a bike/ski shop, a trendy coffee shop, 3 restaurants, and a bed and breakfast (the Phinius Swan). You can walk to waterfalls in 5 minutes, or bike right from the house to countless mountain biking trails. For ski season, it is only a 10 minute drive to Jay’s lifts and is right on the VAST trail system for snowmobiling.
Located in a valley and surrounded by mountains, Montgomery Center is the covered bridge capital of Vermont (there are 7). If you get bored on the ski slopes, you can drive to Montreal in 1.5 hours or Burlington in 1 hour.
Reserve your time for prime skiing! Jay Peak is New England's snowiest mountain known for its international flair, low lift ticket prices, and tram. Also available for spring/summer/fall hiking, mountain biking, swimming (waterfalls and swimming holes 5 min walk), golfing, and more!

The Unique Benefits of this House
The best thing about our place is the location. Jay Peak doesn't really have a village on the mountain. Instead, it has the town of Jay 5 miles to the north, and the town of Montgomery Center 8 miles to the south. The difference is the amenities offered in the towns. Montgomery Center has 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a supermarket, gas station, and coffee shop all a few steps from our place. In Jay there are fewer restaurants and bars and no supermarket or coffee shop. Plus, the bar that's across the river from our house has live bands on the weekends that are great!
