Visited Walla Walla for my birthday with my wife and two other couples. House was fantastic and true to its description and pics. The family has done an amazing job remodeling the house and we'll definitely return. Our favorite was the kitchen and how the house feels like it's lived in and not just a rental. Our best VRBO rental yet! Our only problem (very minor) was the two twin beds for our third couple. Too bad there isn't a pad or something to join the beds :( They did survive and we all had a great time. Thanks so much. cheers.

Tandem House was perfect for a two family weekend reunion. Welcoming, warm, generously and well-equipped kitchen that allowed for some fabulous meals, comfortable sitting and sleeping arrangements, great shower! Riding the blue tandem around Walla Walla is a must do experience. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had three couples here for a holiday weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfy, bathrooms were modern and plenty of room downstairs for all of us. We especially enjoyed the open kitchen/dining/living area for sharing wines we had purchased on our excursions. The best times were spent either on the back patio or on the front porch. We came to visit the area, and did, but what we really enjoyed was the memories we made at the house. Thank you Julie for being so easy to work with! We will absolutely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed the beautiful house and setting - a block from a wonderful park, 5 minutes from the Whitman campus, and only around a 15 minute walk into town. The photos of the house were accurate - the house was even nicer than it looked in the photos and was very clean and well maintained. Lovely well equipped kitchen, which we appreciated as we cooked there almost every night. Great patio for evening and morning sitting in August. The house was extremely comfortable and worked well for adults and children. The owners were very responsive to questions and easy to work with. If you don't want to cook we recommend the Saffron Kitchen for dinner.

What a great place to spend the weekend. The house is comfortable and very tastefully remodeled. It is perfect for sipping wine and cooking a nice dinner. And the location was ideal for our family. The park nearby is great, just half a block away. We can't wait to return for another wine weekend.

This house is large and wonderfully decorated. Spacious and modern. Great yard and patio furnniture in back. This was the perfect place for our wine tour weekend getaway for a group of past college friends. I have already recommended the Tandem House to some friends who already booked it for their June wine tasting trip. Well done! Oh, and close to downtown. And there is a great park just down the street!

I just spent 3 nights at the Tandem House for a sorority reunion & wine tour. I can't wait to book again for next Spring! The property sleep 6-7 comfortably. The kitchen and main living space was plenty large to keep everyone close, yet comfortable. The 3 full bathrooms (two of which had double vanities) was perfect for a full house of 30-something women geting ready in the morning. Kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed (towels, utensils, linens, etc.). A short drive into town for coffee, wine tasting, restaurants - the location is great. Super close to Whitman College (perfect for parents or families visiting kids at school) and centrally located for a wine tasting (a walk into town or hired car out to tasting rooms) this house is approximately 15 minutes from the Walla Walla Regional Airport. FYI, you can ship one case of wine for free on returning flights to Seattle. Bottom line, this property is a true gem!

The Tandem House is a fantastic place to stay. I came to Walla Walla with some friends for a wine tasting weekend. The house is immaculate and everything worked as it should. The location is close to everything you would want to do in Walla Walla. The house has an adorable backyard, perfect for sipping wine with friends! I felt like I was at home. The Tandem House is the only place I will stay when I come to Walla Walla.

We just returned from a wonderful "girls only" weekend in Walla Walla at the Tandem House. I can't say enough great things about this rental. It was inviting, beautifully decorated, comfy, enough seating for sit down dinners/meals, immaculate/clean, and even provided bikes for cruising town. We especially enjoyed the beautiful backyard and patio furniture. Tandem was also close to downtown and a couple blocks from an amazing park. We will definitely return soon! I would highly recommend this property!!

A group of wine loving nurses and spouses came to enjoy Tandem house for a beautiful weekend in September. We were so surprised and impressed with the spaciousness and comfort at Tandem House, and look forward to staying there again, as it's now impossible to even make a tiny dent in the wine experience that Walla Walla has to offer!

We recently stayed at the Tandem House for my oldest son's graduation from Whitman College. Not only was the house beautifully renovated, but it was very comfortable for both sleeping and entertaining. My son's fellow students and faculty easily found their way over by bike, walking, and car to share meals with us and to celebrate. The grandparents (a 98-year old, 85-year old and 82 year old) loved seeing their grandchildren and family all under one roof. Mark was a pleasure to work with and we will certainly plan on renting from him again. And of course, Walla Walla is a wonderful town - the town so nice they named it twice!

This house is the perfect place to stay in Walla Walla. It sits in a beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood, minutes away from downtown (even by bike). Pioneer Park is a half-block away. The house itself is immaculate, all of it completely renovated and very very beautifully done. The three bedrooms upstairs are large and roomy with high ceilings. The three bathrooms are clean, large, and modern. The kitchen is what I wish my kitchen at home was like: huge, plenty of counter space, and full of all the appliances and tools that one could need. Everything was clean, clean, clean. We really didn't come across anything lacking at this house, including the locked garage that we could put our bikes in and the lawn furniture we could pull outside to sit in the evening sun. Even the landscaping is clean and neat. We try to get to Walla Walla twice a year, and we look forward to staying at this house every single time we go. Highly recommended!!!

We had a reunion of ultimate frisbee player friends over an early April weekend and the Tandem House could not have been more perfect for us. Thank you Mark for providing such a lovely and welcoming home base for our reunion weekend. Every one of us could see ourselves living here. This is a house with character. We took full advantage of the fleet of classic cruiser bicycles and tandems, of course! Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the glorious Walla Walla evenings. The house had all the amenities we could need, was very spacious and we all appreciated the bicycle-themed decor. The rooms were all comfortable, the master bedroom was unbelievable! The kitchen was wonderful to cook in and had every item you could imagine. We also loved the backyard lawn and comfy lawn furniture. Mark (owner) was flexible, accommodating, and helpful. This would be a great place to vacation with a family or mid-size group. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood near the crown jewel of Walla Walla’s park system, Pioneer Park. Also it is very close to downtown, Whitman College campus and the nearby vineyards. It was the perfect place! Couldn’t have been better!

Great place, great town! relaxing, beautiful, clean and spacious, house. We spent a wonderful weekend at Tandem House last year during the walla walla onion festival. this place is beautiful, VERY clean and VERY comfortable. we didn't want to leave! riding the bikes into town for a wine tasting and visits to the local shops and bakeries was just idyllic. the house is situated on a quiet street, caddy corner from a beautiful little park with tennis courts, great old trees and a gazebo. its like traveling back in time to the days of norman rockwell. evenings on the swing on the front porch...this house is very special - we will be back for sure. mark and julie have made it a place that you wont soon forget.
