The listing photos accurately reflect the rental appearance and amenities. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner was wonderful and very helpful in answering questions and would highly recommend this property to anyone. It was very enjoyable and peaceful. We went to the town Julian to shop,seeing their recent attractions, and eating at various restaurants. '

The Casita is an Oasis in the desert the perfect romantic getaway! Very comfortable has everything you need to feel at home. Close to town to go out and eat or stay in and cook. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots,pans,blender etc. Go for a walk around the golf course in the morning great work out. My Husband and I are definetly coming back next year for our anniversary!!!

The listing description is very accurate, but it doesn't convey the calm and quiet surrounding the casita. Although there are several neighboring condo units, we rarely saw or heard other people. The property is beautifully landscaped and about a five-minute drive to the town of Borrego Springs. The complex is also located within 5-10 minutes' drive to some nice, short hikes where there is abundant cactus, wildflowers and wildlife (Yaqui Springs and Cactus Loop near the Tamarisk Campground is very accessible). The photos accurately reflect the rooms and amenities, and there is also a nice back patio with a table and chairs for outside dining and birdwatching. My husband and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was very romantic and cozy location to spend time together. This is a great place to stay to get away from the noises of the city.

We found this unit to be everything as pictured and actually exceeded our expectations, despite less than perfect vacation weather. We really enjoyed our stay here. We found it very comfortable - cosy, clean, and well-equipped - ideal for two people - just as described. Since you cannot drive right up to the condo itself, wheeled luggage or similar may be a good idea to get from the parking area.
