Quality Luxury Condo with wonderful pools, ocean access and walking paths. Both the owner and greeting parties were extremely courteous, professional and helpful. Beautiful quiet area. Wonderful lanai and comfortable beds! The ABC across from the Disneyland Hotel was great for supplies as well as take out lunches.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Our family of five had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay in this villa unit. This was our second time in this complex so we were already well aware of its charms -- great lagoon for swimming, lovely adult pool, comfortable condo with high-end furnishings, etc. The owners were friendly and easy to deal with, with prompt return of our security deposit. I echo the suggestion of an earlier reviewer that it would be helpful to know beforehand the extras tucked away in the unit closet such as beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. By the way, we tried to use the beach umbrella on the lagoon beach but enforcers from the developer's office told us that was prohibited. In sum, we recommend this rental and look forward to a future visit!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

A great stay overall and truly and excellent value. We are a family 5. Parents in our late 30's + 3 girls ages 7, 9, and an infant. We stayed for 2 weeks in August 2011. Bottom line for us: This is a very high quality, clean, well maintained, impeccably furnished, high-end condo, with great amenities, on beautiful grounds, right next to the beach. Getting all that for a reasonable cost is amazing! Two small things to be aware of: 1) this unit is on the 2nd floor right over the guest parking lot facing north (towards the Aulani)- still nice views beyond the lot and road, but don't expect to look right onto the ocean, pools, or beach. 2) At the time of our stay the fitness center was not available to owners or guests due to some legal dispute between the developer and condo owners. Not a big deal, but I would have packed/planned differently. Those minor issues paled in comparison to how impressed we were overall with the property. Owner was great to deal with, property manager (and his wife!) are awesome, and the on-site staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We hope to stay here again. I miss it already. A few unadvertised amenities: - There are 4 very nice 8-burner gas grills (Wolf) available near the lagoon pool with plenty of tables near by. We used these grills about every other night. - As another reviewer mentioned, there are beach blankets, an umbrella, and water toys in the closet. - The property manager arranged to have a pack-and-play crib available for us. Practically brand new. The walk-in closet was quickly converted into a nursery. - The medicine cabinet in the master bath has several bottles of sun-block. - The stereo and all clock radios have iPod/iPhone docks As for the area itself - we love it. Reminds me of a younger/smaller Kaanapali but on Oahu. What's nearby? 30 minutes from the North Shore where we enjoyed the beach, hiked, swam under a waterfall, and had some killer world famous shave-ice. 30 minutes from Waikiki. 40 minutes from the windward coast via H-3 where we kayaked the Kahana river right out into Kahana bay. 5 minutes from the Ko Olina harbor where we took a catamaran sail to snorkel and watch dolphins. 30 seconds away from a very nice pool and bar. 1 minute from ocean lagoons that are perfect if you have young kids who want to swim in the ocean without worrying about high surf or strong undertow. I shouldn't have spent so much time writing this. Now I miss it even more. I want to go back right now.

We spent a week here and it met all of our expectations. We are a family of four; two middle ageish parents and two kids, 20 & 17. I rent houses or condo's two or three times a year for family trips and I am very picky about where we stay. Communication with the owner was excellent, and we were met by the property manager upon arrival and given a very good orientation of the condo and the property. The condo was very nice; clean, nicely decorated, kitchen stocked with everything I needed and had top of the line appliances. There were also some really nice extra touches such as beach chairs, plenty of beach towels, sand toys and floaties, and even a small cooler which was great for beach days. The pools were really nice and never got too rowdy, the beach bar was a fun place to hang out, and I loved the lagoon. It was never crowded, you can actually swim without getting beaten up by the surf, and the snorkeling was pretty good as well. We walked to the Marriot for dinner one night, and could also walk to the ABC store, a taco place, yogurt shop, etc. It is also walking distance to Paradise Cove Luau.You do need a car if you want to explore the island, and parking is free! It took us about a half hour to get to Waikiki and about 40 minutes to the North Shore. This is great place for families who are looking for a relaxing vacation.

We stayed at this unit for two weeks in late June. Overall it was a very positive experience. The owner was attentive and handled all questions immediately which was very helpful. The check-in process went smoothly and we had no problems. I would say that the description of the unit should be vastly updated since it neglects to mention some of the amenities that are offered in the unit that would have saved us luggage space. It doesn't mention it in the description but there is a stash of beach toys (towels, blankets, covers for the lounge chairs, boogie boards, noodles) in one of the closets. While the unit does not boast a terrific ocean view, it is super convenient to the parking space (great after shopping trips). It does, however, have a beautiful view of the new Disney resort and the mountains. Great value for the price and a great first experience with VRBO.
