Come vacation at this beautiful French Country style home in one of L.A.’s finest and most desirable locations just a stone throw to Beverly Hills, The Beverly Center, Cedars Hospital, The beautiful Grove Shopping Center, The original Farmers Market, CBS home of “American Idol”, Third Street Boutique shopping, Chinatown, Hollywood Attractions including Universal Studios and Citywalk, The LA County Art Museum, The Car Museum, the fascinating place where the dinosaurs came to die the La Brea Tar Pits, The Farmers Market, The Hollywood Bowl. Approx 20 minutes to LAX and Burbank airports and all major Freeways. She has written a Broadway bound Musical and is also a designer who was featured on Entertainment Tonight. Karen uses the very colors of her beautiful exterior flowers for the interior of the house. She calls it the Happy style.
Enter the dramatic two story turret entrance way, inlayed with imported brick from Normandy. The living room features a beautiful baby Grand piano signed by Justin Timberlake and fine furnishings and antiques. The Family room has an incredibly comfortable couch and entertainment center with DVD, Video, and HDTV player and cable with HBO, Showtime and Cinemax. The office which faces the pool and spa is well equipped with Ethernet and wireless cable.
Even Rachael Rae, Martha Stewart or Sandra Lee would feel right at home in this fully equipped eat-in kitchen which is a showplace in itself and the perfect space to prepare those holiday Turkeys and hams. Features include double convection ovens, a six burner stove, two dishwashers, sub zero and fridge, two sinks, center island, granite counters, micro wave, pantry and tons of extra closet space with plenty of dishes, pots and pans.
The entire house features beautiful golden hardwood distressed floors, beamed ceilings, central heating and air conditioning. French doors, French windows and beautiful accent lighting with dimmer switches, built-in speakers and sound system throughout. The property is completely private and gated and there is a heated pool and spa. For parking there is garage as well as street parking with permits. Unfortunately, do to the contents and materials of the home there is no smoking whatsoever permitted.
You can actually see The world famous Hollywood sign from two of the bedrooms upstairs as well as the glistening lights of the Hollywood Hills. If you bring your binoculars you might just see a movie star. There are four bedrooms one of which is currently used as an office but can easily be used as a fourth bedroom. Bedroom one has a queen size bed (2), Bedroom two a queen size murphy bed (2), Master bedroom, King size bed (2), The office can be converted to a bedroom (2), and the couch in the family room can sleep (2). Therefore a maximum of 10 people at one time. There are four bathrooms. Two upstairs and Two down.
2 separate air-condition zones, one for each floor. There is a fabulous "green" washer and dryer in separate laundry room. Housekeeping would be included on Wednesdays or Saturdays, depending on the housekeepers availability.
