On the beautiful island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas, just a short walk to both the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, and less than a mile from several popular beaches, including the tranquil, crystal-clear waters of Rainbow Bay Beach, “Caribbean Dream” is ideally situated in the quiet settlement of Rainbow Bay. With 4 charming bedrooms available, each with its own private bath, and a large central living area complete with a full kitchen, this rental home is the ideal location for celebrating a special occasion or creating lasting memories with family or friends. Stroll through our beautiful tropical garden with over a dozen different kinds of fruit trees, and too many flowers to count! The large, fully-fenced backyard offers privacy and plenty of open space for relaxing, sunbathing, or family fun. Let the kids play in the sprinklers while you unwind under the palapa with an ice-cold Kalik (the local beer), listening to the ocean waves and the coconut palms rustling in the breeze. Hit the beach for some fun in the sun -- or relax in the comfortable hammock strung across our covered deck with a good book and a frozen drink, swaying gently in time to the soft trade winds that carry the scent of exotic flowers. Let your cares melt away as you drift into your own Caribbean Dream...

Caribbean Dream is within walking distance of the nearby grocery store and restaurant/bar, and only a short drive to the charming towns of Governor's Harbour and Hatchet Bay. Savor the local cuisine at the many authentic restaurants throughout the island, and spend some time getting to know the wonderfully friendly locals. You're on "island time" now! Eat, drink, and dance the night away during local celebrations such as Junkanoo (the Bahamian Christmas/New Years festival), Homecoming, and the annual Pineapple Festival, or just drop in for "'da Anchor Bay Fish Fry" held every Friday night in Governor's Harbour.

Eleuthera has countless stretches of unpopulated pink and white sand beaches; so many, in fact, that you can spend the whole day on some without ever seeing another soul. From the deep blue Atlantic's spectacular waves at Surfer's Beach to the shallow turquoise calm of sheltered Alabaster Beach on the Caribbean, you'll find there's something to satisfy the surfer, swimmer, snorkeler, or sunbather in everyone. Rainbow Bay is centrally-located on Eleuthera, which makes it the ideal home base from which to explore every inch of this 110-mile long island and all its natural wonders. Investigate dramatic, multi-level Hatchet Bay Cave or historic Preacher's Cave, photograph spectacular Glass Window Bridge or mysterious Blue Hole, hop a quick ferry to Harbour Island (known as the Nantucket of the Caribbean) for scuba diving and horseback riding on the beach, or try your hand at bonefishing (a unique challenge no fisherman will want to miss)!

Eleuthera is so safe that many of the locals rely solely on hitch-hiking for transportation, but for convenience, we recommend you rent a car. We're happy to arrange for a rental car to be waiting for you at either nearby airport (GHB or ELH), or we can provide you with several contacts if you prefer to arrange your own. Caribbean Dream will accommodate up to 10 guests and will only be reserved for one party at a time, for your privacy. Let us know when you're ready to get away from it all!
