My name is Anita Geddes. I am the Publisher of Florida Travel & Lifestyles Magazine. I moved to Sarasota with my three teenage children 5 years ago from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. I have always dreamed of living in Florida, and publishing a Florida Magazine I have had the priviged opportunity to visit and explore much of the Sunshine State. I'm now living my dream.
Why the Owner Chose Island Reef
I chose to purchase this condo on Siesta Key for a couple of reasons. My father, who was the greatest, passed away, at the age of 87. He always said to buy real estate. So that's what I did.
Although we don't reside at the condo, I have the pleasure of enjoying it as a great getaway from the teenagers for some quiet time.
I took my time investigating where to buy a condo for my investment purpose along Siesta Key. Island Reef, in my opinion, is the best condo complex along the island. It's location at the quiet end of the key provides its residents and guests with less traffic and outside noise.
The complex itself provides both Bay and Gulf views, fabulous pool areas, accessible beach areas, barbecue areas and boat dockage, if required.
Outdoors I felt if was the best maintained, manicured and landscaped complex.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Some of the unique benefits to enjoy while staying at the condo is the location of the unit. The complex itself is 5 floors with my unit being 303. Just below my unit is the workout room and barbecue area. Perfect for working out, having a barbecue and relaxing with a glass of wine.

Spent February of 2009 in this beautiful condo at Island Reef. We've been going to Siesta Key for many years and this was our best stay ever. The condo was extraordinary.... beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The grounds were immaculate. The residents could not have been more friendly. The Gulf beach was beautiful and the views of the bay from the condo were lovely. We would definitely return. It was a great stay and we highly recommend it to anyone!
