Other points of interest downtown are the new Phoenix Convention Center, Phoenix Symphony Hall, Herberger Theatre Center, Dodge & Orpheum Theatres and the Arizona Science Center.
Near the light rail line as it wends its way to Tempe is Sky Harbor Airport and the Phoenix Botanical Gardens and Phoenix Zoo. Within approximately 1/2 mile of the home on Central Ave can be found the main Phoenix Library and the Phoenix Art and Heard Museums. About 30 minutes away are the University of Phoenix Stadium (Cardinals) as well as the Phoenix International Raceway for NASCAR fans.
