The beautifully manicured grounds, mature landscaping and stately pine trees peppered throughout the Beachside Tennis Villa common area welcome you to this tucked-away, beach retreat. You have direct access to the beach and a beautiful beachside side private swimming pool, bathhouse and gas grills. All located within steps of the white sandy beach while restaurants, watersports, shopping and entertainment at the equally close South Beach Marina Village. At this quaint Cape-Cod style Marina Village you can shop in many unique boutiques, dine indoors or out (gourmet or casual) or plan a kayak trip through the tidal creeks or a scenic dolphin tour or rent bicycles to enjoy the plantation.

Convenience: We have a convenient front desk location near the entrance to Sea Pines making check-in and key pick up fast and easy. Should any problems arise during your stay, the villa comes with an on-site property manager. In the event of an emergency, they can be reached twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Sunsets are spectacular throughout the year on the southern-tip of Hilton Head Island. The wooden-louvered front door greets you as you step into the spacious entry foyer that opens straight ahead into the great room/kitchen area and flows to the right down a hallway leading to the private guest bedroom. Completed with travertine stone flooring, the foyer also features a built-in storage cabinet and display shelving.
The recently-remodeled kitchen is an open design with an integrated breakfast-bar, complete with bar stools for casual dining at the kitchen. The kitchen boasts a beautiful display of all-new wood cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops with an integrated double-basin sink.
The travertine stone flooring flows into the great room, which features a soaring ceiling illuminated with natural light from the overhead windows - unique to the penthouse location. The great room features generous living and dining areas, both with beautiful views over the Calibogue Sound. Two sets of sliding glass doors open out to an extended-length covered balcony that is also accessible from the master suite. This is a great place to gather after a wonderful day at the pool, beach, golfing, kayaking or playing tennis. Pine trees provide shade on the balcony, so grab a drink to watch the sun dance over the water then gently slip over the horizon.
The master suite features soft carpeted flooring, a king-size bed, a large closet, a private bath, and an oversized set of sliding glass doors providing outstanding natural lighting, private access to the balcony and terrific waterfront views. The master bathroom has been fully updated to include stone tile flooring, a double vanity with granite countertop, and a combined shower/tub with stone surround.
The guest suite features carpet flooring, two queen-size beds, a private balcony, full-size closet, and a private bathroom. The bathroom has a beautiful walk-in stone-finish shower with double glass sliding doors, travertine stone flooring and a granite-finished double-vanity.
Both bedrooms come equipped with TVs. The great room also has a TV, DVD player and a compact CD player/radio that is iPod compatible. The villa features a full-size laundry closet with storage shelving, and there is a two-zone HVAC system for comfortable temperature management from room to room.

- When we come to the Island we like to bring as little as possible and that’s why we’ve made sure that just about everything you need (except food, clothing & beach towels) is ready and waiting. The kitchen is a gourmet cook’s dream and comes with dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, silverware, pots & pans, all new appliances and many extras (including a blender and margarita glasses). All bedroom and bath linens are provided as well as a washer & dryer so you don’t need to bring clothes for a week. The villa also has an infant/child booster seat and a pack-n-play. Bicycles, inline skates and kayaks can be rented right on the island. So travel light and take advantage of everything that is waiting for you at the villa.

We have created some wonderful family memories on Hilton Head. Our girls learned to ride bicycles and hunt for wildlife…and they developed a love for ice cream as the shop is just a short walk away. Each season offers something different and our family was surprised to find out that we enjoyed the fall and winter months as much as we do spring and summer. We’ve always gravitated to the water…especially the ocean. We even got married in the Florida Keys on a sailboat as the sun was setting. It’s seems to have always been that way. My wife grew up on the South Shore of Long Island and spent her free time at the beach on Fire Island. Even though I went to high school & college in the Midwest (Columbus, Ohio) I have lived a good deal of my life on an island in Florida. We are currently landlocked in Winston Salem NC and this villa gives us a way to get back to the beach more often.

The drive from Sea Pines Resort check in to the condo has to be one of the most beatiful in the world - the meandeing road through wooded forest, creeks, flora and fauna, and beautiful homes is better than any hepertension medication. The condo location across the street from South Beach Marina (Salty Dog complex) is very convenient. We watched the sunset from the balcony every eveneing and photos through the pine tree ehance the pictures. One is right at home from the start in the condo. It is very spacious and nicely upgraded. The travertine floor and shower is exquisite. Renting bikes for a week is a must (we used South Beach rentals across the street). Lawton stables and horse back riding was great. They have ponies that give small children free rides. We fed apples to Harley, the Clydesdale on the property. It is unbeleivable to see dolphins and pelicans feeding so close to shore every day from the balcony - or take the short walk to the beach for a closer look. One feels like they are living in a separate world away from the stress of everyday life. We definitely want to go back again and do more bike riding and beach walking - just relax and enjoy nature.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

Other than having to hunt for the drop off box to return the keys on the morning we left (not easy to find and was very frustrating), there's nothing but positive remarks on the condo & Hilton Head - the whole experience was grand. This condo is very well appointed and very well "stocked." What was most remarkable was how quiet and pleasantly dry/cool it was at night. The 2nd bedroom (where the 14 year old girls stayed) is on the opposite end from the master - you don't hear a thing! This is the perfect spot for a family of 4 -

Our family loved the Hilton Head property when we stayed for our Spring break. The location on the beach and across from the South Beach Marina was ideal. It was roomy and perfect for our family with 2 teenage boys that need room to spread out. We would definitely stay at your villa again!

A very nicely decorated and appointed villa, with excellent beds, baths, kitchen utensils and appliances, and a nice, if tree obstructed beach view. We found later that it was priced high for the month of February. We enjoyed our stay in 1864,

We spent the Christmas Holiday in your Villa, it was very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the walk on the beach and watching the dophins feed and play in the water just off shore. Great place to stay, quiet and private. Hope to enjoy again in the future.

Hello Rob and Candy, Just wanted you to know that my friend and I had a great time in Hilton Head and your villa was wonderful. We were entertained in the afternoon with the dolphins feeding and just playing around in the water. We also visited Rose-Hill Plantation and that was a great tour. Highly recommend it. Thank you for your hospitality, and the use of your comfortable condo. It was a much needed getaway. Thank you for the information regarding your cottage on Kiawah as well. We have never been there and have discussed on numerous occasions going there instead of Hilton Head. The condo was wonderful with great views. The second, very private bedroom with deck and bathroon makes it ideal for two couples or families. Extra towels, luxury toiletries and walk-in shower made us feel pampered. The pool area is spacious and very clean. Weather in September is gorgeous and made for an enjoyable vacation. We will definitely visit again.

What a great villa! Everything inside the unit was clean and updated. We loved being able to walk across the street for nightly activities at the Salty Dog! Also, the nature lesson for my 4 and 6 year old kids was fabulous. The dolphin swam 30 feet from the beach everyday, and we saw countless starfish and crab (HUGE, ready to be eaten crab)! Thanks!

This was our first trip to Hilton Head Island and we were fortunate to find this beautiful condo. The convenience of walking to South Beach Marina area for eating and fun at the Salty Dog was perfect. The proximity to golf, tennis and bike and bike trails was great. The secluded feeling of this area made our trip very relaxing. The condo was very comfortable and felt like our home. The pool was nice and we could see our kids playing on the beach from the balcony. Thanks!
