The drive from Sea Pines Resort check in to the condo has to be one of the most beatiful in the world - the meandeing road through wooded forest, creeks, flora and fauna, and beautiful homes is better than any hepertension medication. The condo location across the street from South Beach Marina (Salty Dog complex) is very convenient. We watched the sunset from the balcony every eveneing and photos through the pine tree ehance the pictures. One is right at home from the start in the condo. It is very spacious and nicely upgraded. The travertine floor and shower is exquisite. Renting bikes for a week is a must (we used South Beach rentals across the street). Lawton stables and horse back riding was great. They have ponies that give small children free rides. We fed apples to Harley, the Clydesdale on the property. It is unbeleivable to see dolphins and pelicans feeding so close to shore every day from the balcony - or take the short walk to the beach for a closer look. One feels like they are living in a separate world away from the stress of everyday life. We definitely want to go back again and do more bike riding and beach walking - just relax and enjoy nature.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Other than having to hunt for the drop off box to return the keys on the morning we left (not easy to find and was very frustrating), there's nothing but positive remarks on the condo & Hilton Head - the whole experience was grand. This condo is very well appointed and very well "stocked." What was most remarkable was how quiet and pleasantly dry/cool it was at night. The 2nd bedroom (where the 14 year old girls stayed) is on the opposite end from the master - you don't hear a thing! This is the perfect spot for a family of 4 -

Our family loved the Hilton Head property when we stayed for our Spring break. The location on the beach and across from the South Beach Marina was ideal. It was roomy and perfect for our family with 2 teenage boys that need room to spread out. We would definitely stay at your villa again!

A very nicely decorated and appointed villa, with excellent beds, baths, kitchen utensils and appliances, and a nice, if tree obstructed beach view. We found later that it was priced high for the month of February. We enjoyed our stay in 1864,

We spent the Christmas Holiday in your Villa, it was very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the walk on the beach and watching the dophins feed and play in the water just off shore. Great place to stay, quiet and private. Hope to enjoy again in the future.

Hello Rob and Candy, Just wanted you to know that my friend and I had a great time in Hilton Head and your villa was wonderful. We were entertained in the afternoon with the dolphins feeding and just playing around in the water. We also visited Rose-Hill Plantation and that was a great tour. Highly recommend it. Thank you for your hospitality, and the use of your comfortable condo. It was a much needed getaway. Thank you for the information regarding your cottage on Kiawah as well. We have never been there and have discussed on numerous occasions going there instead of Hilton Head. However, as we spent a good bit of our time looking at houses in Sea Pines during our staylooking for a house in Sea Pines. Thanks again, and we will be back in touch.

The condo was wonderful with great views. The second, very private bedroom with deck and bathroon makes it ideal for two couples or families. Extra towels, luxury toiletries and walk-in shower made us feel pampered. The pool area is spacious and very clean. Weather in September is gorgeous and made for an enjoyable vacation. We will definitely visit again.

What a great villa! Everything inside the unit was clean and updated. We loved being able to walk across the street for nightly activities at the Salty Dog! Also, the nature lesson for my 4 and 6 year old kids was fabulous. The dolphin swam 30 feet from the beach everyday, and we saw countless starfish and crab (HUGE, ready to be eaten crab)! Thanks!

This was our first trip to Hilton Head Island and we were fortunate to find this beautiful condo. The convenience of walking to South Beach Marina area for eating and fun at the Salty Dog was perfect. The proximity to golf, tennis and bike and bike trails was great. The secluded feeling of this area made our trip very relaxing. The condo was very comfortable and felt like our home. The pool was nice and we could see our kids playing on the beach from the balcony. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo! It is spacious, and everything is new and very clean. The view of the beach and the ocean is great and its location in the south beach area is very private. It was equipped with everything our family could have needed during our stay and we will definitely be back!

My wife and I spent a delightful February - 2009 - at this lovely villa. Very tastefully decorated with high quality furniture and decor. We enjoyed the wonderful 5th floor view of the sound and sunsets. South Beach restaurants and shopping was a plus. Great neighbors, peaceful location. We look forward to coming back next year!
