St Teresa Beach is located off Hgw 98 between Panacea and Carrabelle, Fl. A short private driveway to your private beach community. This home was built by former Florida Governor Leroy Collins, and has a great history.
The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, plus outdoor shower. Large living room connects by counter to kitchen and entrance foyer.
Hardwood floors, wood burning fire place, massive beach porch, old fashion outdoor shower, and many other features old and new, make this house truly unique. There are ceiling fans, Direct TV, and comfortable beds in each bedroom. Please see the link to other photos of the house.
The house has been freshly painted and furnished in Key West colors. Our family enjoys over many days and nights during the year in this home, so the house is always in top shape.
Full wireless high speed internet is available throughout the house by Hughes Net satellite dish. Our children have a wide variety of video games and toys in the their room. We have child that uses a wheelchair, so everything is handicap accessible.
The house is located in the center of St Teresa beach, on a small bluff, which allows the house to be built on ground level. While the house is located only 100 feet from the Gulf (at high tide), it has a full grass (St Augustine) yard and landscaping. A tiki hut is placed just past the grass on the sand. Beach chairs are available in the garage. You can walk in either direction on the beach, some 2 miles to the East or 3 miles to the West. Perfect for low tide walking to the sunrise or the sunset. Alligator Point to the Southeast and Dog Island to the Southwest are both visible.
If you are a boater, a mooring buoy is just in front for tie down.
Great restaurants just a few miles East (Angelo’s) or West to Summer Camp and St James Bay Golf and Country Club. Boat ramps close by either direction.
Ochlocknee River State Park, FSU Marine Lab, Wakulla Springs State Park and the St Marks National Wildlife Refuge are very close. The Capitol of the State of Florida, Tallahassee, is 40 miles to the North.
