We had a wonderful, restful stay at the cabin. It is fully equipped and the owners were very attentive to our questions. The spot is exquisite! We loved being right next to the stream and tried to spend as much time as possible sitting outside. It's the perfect spot to unwind, read, and enjoy nature with many sightseeing and outdoor possibilities nearby. Thank you for the wonderful vacation stay!

What a delight this cabin is -- the setting, the cabin itself, its proximity to great fishing and hiking. We are already scheduling our next stay there in 2011.

We completely enjoyed our stay in Abe's Chair cabin. The listing description and photos were accurate, the cabin was clean and well-maintained, the owners were very helpful. We enjoyed exploring the area and finding gentians in bloom and old mining towns. We are hoping to visit again!

We had a wonderful 4 day break over Labor Day weekend staying at the cabin. It was nice to get unplugged (but could get some wi-fi at the lodge down the road when we had to email the cat sitter, looking at potential trail reviews, etc.) Cell phone coverage is 15 minutes or so by car. Nice little restaurant at the lodge down the road. Loved to sit out on the deck and watch the birds. Hiking was fantastic! Cabin was cozy, clean and would highly recommend it. Great place++++

We enjoyed our stay at Abes Chair Cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. There was a folder on the table with helpful information regarding nearby activities and attractions. We enjoyed our pontoon rental at Red Fish Lake. We also took time to do some bike riding on gravel roads nearby. Abes is located near Smiley Creek Lodge. Smiley Creek Lodge has good food and you will enjoy the rustic atmosphere at the lodge. We hope to stay at Abes again sometime perhaps on a snowmobile trip in the Winter

We had a great time at the cabin. We liked the seclusion and how clean it was. But most of all, they allowed us to bring our two hairy friends. They are family too and they had just as much fun as we did. We would definately stay again. We loved our stay.

My friends and I enjoyed the comfort and amenities of this adorable cabin over the Labor Day weekend. We used it as our base camp for three days of mountain biking excursions in the Stanley area. We usually camp and bike, but having this charming cabin to come back to each night was delightful. We'll do it again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The setting is picture perfect, tucked away in a small grove of trees with the soothing sounds of Smiley Creek nearby, watching the squirrels and chipmunks play all day. The cabin is so homey, cozy and very clean. And so much to do nearby: hiking, fishing, touring, historical sites...too much in fact to see. We hope to return again soon!

My sister made a wonderful entry in the guest book at the cabin. I wish I could re-write it. My sister, friend (Jackie), my 2 pups, and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of June. It was cozy, comfortable, and accessible to lots of hiking. I would recommend Abe's Chair Cabin to any of my friends. I will stay again some day.

What a great place to get away from fast paced every day life. The cabin is every thing it is advertised to be and more. Peace and quiet, some what secluded, yet halfway between Ketchum and Stanley if you need to go to town. So much to do if your an outdoors person, or just enjoy the gentle breeze and the sound of Smiley Creek rushing by just feet from the cabin. I will recommend this place to all my family and friends. You can bet I'll be staying here again.
