VillaView features a commanding straight-on view of the ocean, Haystack Rock, and the Needles where you can watch the daily activities of the famous Haystack tide pools, see breath-taking sunsets and witness the drama of coastal storms as they roll in. There are eleven ocean view windows on the main level, offering a 180-degree panoramic view north to the Tillamook Lighthouse and south to Hug Point and Arch Cape.
Located on the ocean side of Hemlock Street, VillaView is just steps to the beach across a private road of oceanfront homes. Take a leisurely walk on the beach into town to get the morning paper and your coffee or walk the mile through mid-town on the road. You can also take the free shuttle downtown to enjoy the shops, galleries and restaurants.
REFRESH: Contemplate the sea or lose yourself in a novel from the comfort of the Great Room leather recliners. Warm yourself by a cracking fire with an endless supply of firewood provided. Snuggle into the down-filled sofa and watch an old movie or a football game on the oversized flat screen TV. Cable, VCR, CD and DVD player with an extensive movie library to choose from.

COOK: Sip wine, create a gourmet meal and have long, luxurious chats in this well-appointed kitchen. Here you'll enjoy a full view of the ocean, where you'll stop often to catch your breath at the ever-changing hue of Haystack Rock as the sun sets or the storms roll in.
The kitchen boasts every possible appliance and gadget and includes spices, foil, plastic wrap, zip lock bags and paper products. The kids will enjoy the ice cream maker, milkshake blender and burger boats, while you will enjoy the shaker and blender for creating a martini bar or margarita party!

Plush towels, spa robes and colorful beach towels are also provided for your comfort. The master bedroom has a private bath, king bed, TV and view of Haystack Rock. The Guest bedroom has a queen bed, TV and a view of Haystack Rock.
The bunkroom has a double/twin bunk bed, twin pull-out mattress, TV and partial ocean view. A "secret bed" resides in the reading area where a cozy chair for two converts to a favored twin bed. Books, board games, puzzles, kites, professional sand castle building equipment, baseballs, mitts, sand toys and a Kinect for Xbox 360 are all provided. What a dream vacation. Home was as they said it would be and much more. Views were spectacular from all windows. House was clean and stocked with special surprises to fit more then you would need. Very relaxing and comfortable home that our family will absolutely rent in the future and recommend to all. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

I love staying at AVillaView when I go to Cannon Beach. The house is so well kept and the Villeneuve family provides everything you could possibly want for a relaxing beach vacation. From comfortable beds to great movies to rain boots for splashing in the tidepools to a jacuzzi tub to melt away in - it's all here! The view is spectacular as you are right there in front of Haystack Rock. It's a magical place that I always look forward to returning to. I highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Cannon Beach.

Staying at VillaView was an incredible experience. Rarely does a destination property exceed expectations, but VillaView did! Our every need and comfort was provided for. We had hiking books, backpacks, coolers, kites, rain slickers, boots, sandcastle tools, books, music and movies at our disposal. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with every possible amenity for cooking, baking and serving. I’ve never stayed anywhere on vacation and WANTED to cook before staying at VillaView! The location is spectacular with a breathtaking view. The beach is wonderful and we loved shopping in the village. We saw a wonderful production of Auntie Mame at the Coaster Theater. The best vacation we have ever had. We can't wait to go back!

We've stayed at the upscale hotel just down the beach -- a wonderful place, but Villaview is better because it provides the amenities of a top-notch hotel with enough room for the whole family. That's just part of why we like it. In addition to the fact that Villaview has a better view of the waves crashing onto Haystack rock and the Needles, the hotel room didn't come with a wood burning fireplace (with wood provided), gas barbeque, movie library, two-level private deck, beach cruiser bicycles, a well equipped kitchen, games and books, tips for local activities and dining that are based on experience not paid endorsements, sand chairs or kites for the beach. Sure other beach houses (or hotels) may have a huge jacuzzi tub, but how many provide matching terry cloth robes and slippers, candles, and stereo speakers for your favorite music? The house is comfortable, the view is mesmerizing, and the amenities allow you to relax and just soak it all in. Now that's a beach vacation.

Villa View is as special as it is beautiful! Our family has enjoyed three visits over the years and each time we feel pampered by this lovely home and relaxed by the majestic beauty of Cannon Beach. Haystack Rock is front and center as you gaze out the windows of Villa View and this tranquil location is perfect for a summer vacation or a cozy winter getaway. Pack on the light side as Villa View is so fully equipped you will enjoy all of luxury ammenties of a resort in the privacy of a home that has everyting you will need for a perfect stay. Just be sure to book your next visit as you leave so you won't be disappointed by a calendar conflict when you are ready to return to Villa View.

We has been to VillaView twice, once as a couple before our daughter was born and more recently as a new family of three. It was wonderful for both trips, due especially to all the thoughtful touches provided for. As a romantic getaway, you can't beat the incredible view, curling up by a warm fire and cooking together in a kitchen that really does have everything. For a family, it's a great place to relax and play together. Kim had a portable crib, stroller, baby monitor, high chair and safety gates already at the house, along with toys, books and games. It is so nice to arrive and know that we can just enjoy our vacation time, everything has been accounted for and we are guests there to have fun. Cannon Beach is a wonderful place to vacation and VillaView is an amazing place to enjoy it from.

VillaView is one in a million. We spent our honeymoon at VillaView and return there as often as possible. Nowhere else are we more able to relax, disconnect, and indulge. (Although with the wireless Internet, we can "connect" as needed.) The windows surrounding the living room and dining area provide a view unlike any I've experienced on any beach in the world. Comfortable, rich furnishings; great beach access; garage parking; unimpeded ocean view; great Jacuzzi tub; real wood fireplace. Kim is a most gracious proprietor, who takes care to make the guest experience worth every penny. Cannon Beach offers great food and art - and relaxed, small-town cordiality. You will quickly have your favorites. (Don’t miss Dooger’s “happy hour” dinner menu; best clam chowder anywhere. And be sure to visit Joyce at North by Northwest gallery.) VillaView is a true getaway.
