Our entire family was able to use this cabin for a winter get-a-way and we all had a wonderful time. We had two one year olds and they loved exploring the many rooms and going sledding in the drive way and the hills directly beside the cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked and it seemed much more like a resort vacation home than what we have been used to as we frequent the YMCA in Estes and WP often. I would recommend this cabin to anyone as it was so comfortable you just did not want to leave. It had hundreds of movies and books, and the sounds system and entertainment center was flawless. The master bedroom has a soak tub that is fabulous and the entire home is set up in such a way as to make everyone relax and enjoy a wonderful vacation. We will be back!

This house is an incredible retreat for a family or group who wants to be close to Winter Park and beautiful Grand Lake. It is meticulously maintained and offers all the amenities. We especially love the open kitchen and comfortable living room, grand fireplace, steam shower, and heated garage. It's a quick 10-15 minute drive into WP and other outdoor adventures like snow mobiling and tubing. We wouldn't stay any other place.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

1/6/2010: We stayed at this property for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The kitchen and family room are very large and comfortable. All of the bedrooms are cozy and the bathrooms are very nicely done. The location is perfect for easy access to all sights in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

Our family of 8 stayed over the Christmas holiday, 2009. The house was great. It is very warm and comfortable, and what you picture in your mind when you think of a snowy Colorado mountain get away. The great room - kitchen - dining area is fantastic for the whole family. There is plenty of room and the large wood burning fireplace adds the final touch. The home is complete with pine floors and finish, and a vaulted ceiling. The rooms were very comfortable, and the heated garage was the finishing touch. After a long day on the slopes or snowmobiling, it was nice to be able to pull directly into a warm garage and step out of all our cold weather gear. The location in Tabernash is close to skiing, and it was nice to have a place a short distance from the business of the resort. This was a great place to stay and build family memories.

Our group of eight spent Christmas to New Years day at Paul and Sarah's home in Tabernash. What a wonderful stay we had, the home is very warm and inviting with the kitchen and great room being the main stage for memories that will last a lifetime. Every amenity you could want in a home. Clean and comfortable. Looking forward to next season.

This is the first time I have left a comment on VRBO, despite having stayed at several places. However, I could not pass this opportunity up after having stayed at such a great place. If you are looking for all the comforts of home in a warm, cozy, relaxing mounain getaway...then this is your place. We went for 3 nights and only ventured out on a couple of occassions. This place is just so relaxing with the roaring fire place, lots of books to read, beatiful view, tv and gaming system for the kids, and did I mention the view. I have driven through Tabernash all my life...always on the way to somewhere else. Blink and you will miss it. Not anymore. Don't pay a premium to stay in a cramped condo when you can rent this for less and be much more comfortable. Contact the owner...I promise you won't be disappointed. Paul...we will be back!
