We take 2 trips per year to Mammoth. This was our second one this year. The condo was comfortable and clean. My children had lots of fun. We appreciate the sleds the owners provided. There were games for the family and we would highly recommend it for a family of 5 or less.

I was very pleased with your unit. The pictures do not do it justice. I was at home immediately. The internet and fireplace were perfect after a hard day of skiing. The in town convenience was superb. I will definitely recommend your place to my friends. All the Best!!

We just got back from an amazing week of skiing and relaxation. The place was very nice. It is tastefully decorated. Not like many of the condos where the furniture is left over. The place was clean and great for a family. Both bathrooms were convenient for everyone, no waiting for showers. Tons of firewood made the night toasty and warm. The location was easy for dinner and morning coffee at the Looney bean!!! I have been coming to Mammoth for years and think that your place is really great. Thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine, nice touch. We look forward to coming back during Easter with the family. We were recommended your place by friends and were not disappointed!!

Terrible experience

Arrived at 5 PM, found a dirty, smelly condo. It was not made up. Owner would not return my call, responded to email an hour later with instructions to me to contact his local manager. Yet another hour later maids showed up, changed the beds and retired spending 20 min in the apartment. Bathrooms, kitchen, dining table were all left dirty. They even did not vacuum the floor. My daughter would not go into the bath to take a shower that how dirty it was, my wife had to wash it clean. I had to spend next few days sending emails back and forth with the owner, who first wanted to fire the maid service and later was trying to convince me how good they actually are because he received a bill for 3 people for more than an hour of service, and used the snow storm from the night before as an excuse. My wife was so upset with the whole situation. This was the worse vacation ever in spite of tons of snow at Mammoth. I've been coming to Mammoth every year and was always using VRBO to rent. This is the first experience like this. I suggest for future renters to stay away from this particular listing for owners are one of those who are squeezing every penny out of renters regardless of experience and service provided. One more thing - it is actually not a one bedroom condo, but rather living room with a loft upstairs open to below and 2 bathrooms (not for those who want some separation of living quarters).

Owner response:Unfortunately, a record storm did shut down the town. Many cleaning services had delays. The renter was offered free dining while the maids worked and a free weekend during the summer because of the inconvenience. After driving 7 hours in a white out storm with your kids, everyones emotions run high. We did not appreciate threats of a bad review if he did not get monetary compensation. This reflects poorly on the character of the individual. We dont control the weather and can only hope that people make every effort to do their best. Some people will never be happy. It is a sad truth. We wish him and his family well.

It was our first time to Mammoth with our 2 sons and puppy. This condo was perfect for all our needs. Very clean and comfortable. Exactly how depicted in the photos. The owners were very prompt and helpful while making all the arrangements. I would return in the future. Very convenient location, we could walk to neighborhood restaurants and local Vons for shopping. A great home away from home!!! I would highly reccomend Roberto's and Angel's for lunch or dinner. Thanks....

Had a delightful time. The place was a short walk from my favorite restaurants. The ski shuttle is right in front of the complex. I didnt use my car for 4 days!!! Two thumbs up!!

Wonderful time!!! The shuttle was so fast, 8 minutes from eagle lift to condo door!!! Unbelievably convenient. Awesome. I am coming back.

my family stayed here the first weekend in may and we were so comfortable and cozy with these accomodations, the beds were very comfortable the place was very clean with nice,soft towels, the place felt very warm and homelike, the jacuzzi was right across from us and was great! will definitely be back here for sure!! highly reccomend this condo!

Had a blast. The family loves skiing out of eagle lodge. It was soooo easy on the shuttle. Accomodations were awesome. Wine, snow, and a steamy sauna, who could ask for anything else. Thanks guys, look forward to coming back.

Great snow, great location, great time. Look forward to another stay this Winter. Hot tub was amazing. Sometimes you just need a break from the city. Your place was better than advertised.
