This pristine rental property is the absolute most ideal paradise escape for friends and families. Located on the northern end of the lake the property sits flush against the crystal blue lake. The heated pool over looking the lake is the best place for relaxation in the sun. I can't imagine a better location for any sort of reunion that you may have!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a beautiful home! My family and I enjoyed our time here. The Miller's are excellent "hosts" and they were very generous to share their vacation home with us. My son loves Cooperstown, so he was in "double heaven" with the beauty of the home and the closeness to Cooperstown! The sunrise on the lake was spectacular. I would greatly recommend this property to anyone who may be interested!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was our second stay at Cayuga Lodge and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The decor and architecture of this condo are breath-taking and really made us want to just stay and enjoy it all three days that we were there. Of course, having snow falling outside helped us to want to curl up in front of one of the five fireplaces and just watch the snow fall. It is the perfect spot for relaxing both during the day and at night with the many different sitting areas throughout the condo. We found the property to be clean and well-maintained. The owner was always prompt in answering e-mails and taking care of our concerns. We have definitely recommended this condo to friends and may even have a family wedding here one day. As far as the area is concerned, we have been coming to Cooperstown for many years and have stayed in a variety of different spots around Lake Otsega, but none compares to Cayuga Lodge. If you are looking for a good place to eat, we would recommend the new restuarant that has taken over the old TJ restaurant location on Main Street. It is called Batters Up and has very good food for breakfast.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

What a wonderful experience it was. The pictures are just s tiny glimpse into the beauty that Bill created when he hand crafted his "Log Home Mansion". We cant wait to stay there again in May. OH, and we are planning on coming back in June as well. Cant get enough of that magical place. Not much to say about this place other than its amazing! The most luxurious log cabin you will probably ever stay at. Never mind the fact that it was 10 degrees out. Fireplaces on every floor alleviate that issue! If you're looking to unwind with some friends, cook a great meal, and just relax...well, stop looking!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We initially tried to rent another place from Bill, but that place was closed over winter. Instead he offered this place, Cayuga lodge, just off of Route 80, which goes up the west side of Otsego lake, which was perhaps even better! It is a proper, Americana-style, log-built lodge; it is huge (3200 sq-ft), with wonderful views over Otsego lake, and lies between Springfield and Cooperstown. The property had been well prepared for our arrival: all snow (it was over the New York 2013 snow-storm weekend) having been cleared from paths and driveways; was spotlessly clean; the heating was on; and a fire had already been prepared for our arrival - a large quantify of firewood was piled up by the front door; the fire-pace was absolutely wonderful - I permanently occupied the chaise longue next to it! The lodge was well kitted out with everything you could possibly want, the kitchen being particularly well equipped. Generally, the lodge strikes a good balance between a "home" decor and a more professional decor, i.e not cluttered yet homely. The views out of the balconies were wonderful, over looking a frozen lake Otsego. Any traffic on Route 80, which in winter is probably less busy than in summer, was completely un-noticed. Overall, a we had a wonderful time and would heartily recommend to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We were extremely fortunate enough to spend our Christmas at this wonderful chalet. It was also during our first winter storm of the year. The entire property is breathtaking, with fantastic views of the lake and the geese. The staff were extremely helpful with any concerns we had. There are gas fireplaces in every room, but we really enjoyed the wood fireplace the most on the main level. The architecture, artwork and overall layout of this chalet was just beyond words. The worst part of the trip was leaving. Bill, the owner, responded to all of our questions and concerns in a timely manner. By the way, the best reception for wi-fi is on the third floor in the room with the two black leather chairs. We also made great use out of the I Home to listen to Christmas music. It's quite evident that Bill truly cares about his visitors...looking forward to returning soon. JKZM & JPGDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I love to travel and I do a lot of research before booking any holiday. I have to say the Cayuga Lodge at Arrowhead Pointe did not disappoint me. The lodge is set on a hill on a beautiful piece of property that slopes down to the lake. There are great views from almost every room. The logs give the structure a warm, inviting feeling, especially during the fall season when the leaves were all in bloom. Every place you look, you see craftsman like details, from the babbling brook waterfall upon entering the unit, to the hand made brass oven hood. There is a sweeping staircase that spans all three floors, and wraps around what looks to be a 40 foot tree!.. and if you don't want to use the stairs, there is even an elevator. Kitchen appliances were top notch, the beds were comfortable, and the decorating was beautiful. It was a bit chilly outside, so the radiant heat floors were a real treat. There was even a wood burning fire place which the owner had set up for us. A customized book, with our name printed on the cover, was left on the counter. It detailed everything to do in the area. There was also a platter of home made cookies. The property has a pool and a boat house, right on the lake. Cooperstown is beautiful. I like to walk, and I was charmed by the beauty of both the town and the surrounding area. I am definitely booking again this summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Initially, most of our rental activity was during the warm summer months when the lake can be fully appreciated. More and more people are now escaping their hectic lives to spend a few nights in this really special environment. Close to all of the Cooperstown attractions, our lodge provides a warm and comfortable space in which to gather with family and friends. The ambiance of the log and beams, combined with the warmth of the radiant floors and wood fireplace is irresistible! We look forward to your return visit!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at Cayuga Lodge this past weekend! My friends and I arrived on Friday in the rain, but it soon cleared and the entire weekend was beautiful with wonderful fall foliage and beautiful view of the lake from the lodge! We all needed a break and thanks to you we had a really fun time away... we did a lot in a few days - went shopping downtown and to Ommegang brewery, walked in Glimmerglass State Park, went to Fly Creek Cider Mill, and went on the Cooperstown Ghost Tour. We will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
