Glory View is a beautifully furnished 2 story "A" frame cabin. This duplex has 1200 square feet. Glory View has 2 bedrooms upstairs. One has a king bed with a full bath between the other bedroom with 2 twin beds. The king bedroom is romantically decorated in soft lilac. The twin bedroom has a patriotic USA motif. The main level has a queen bed and jetted tub in the full bath. The queen bedroom has an earthy wild flower feel. The bedrooms are very spacious with chest of drawers, closets and chairs for sitting. The living room has a leather Lazy boy love seat that double reclines plus another Lazy boy recliner. These are great to relax in after outdoor activities next to the moss rock fireplace. There's lots of wood to burn in the fireplace. The oak dinette table has 2 swivel rocker chairs that are super comfortable to eat, play games, watch TV. There is a leaf for the dining table plus 3 fabric padded folding chairs. The breakfast bar has 2 leather bar stools.
Glory View comes with a fully stocked kitchen. We provide basic food items such as sugar, coffee, teas, spices, etc.
Electric blankets are on 3 of the 4 beds. There are extra quilts on each bed for "wrapping up in". We have games, cards, coloring materials, portable humidifier to help with high altitude dryness. Toys are in the bottom drawer in the twin bedroom. We also have some children sleds.
The garage holds 1 vehicle. The driveway is steep, so 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is necessary. But it makes for a great sledding hill with parental supervision.
Summary of our policies: We charge a $39 insurance fee that provides $1500. of coverage for your entire stay. Payment is by Pay Pal and check. If booking is at last minute, payment by check must be overnighted by US mail. If booking is less than minimum stay, a cleaning fee will be added. If a reservation is cancelled, the entire rent deposit is retained unless Glory View is rebooked for the same time frame. Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 11 AM. Exceptions can be made depending on availability. Clean up after pets is mandatory. Absolutely NO SMOKING. More details can be emailed to interested guests.

My husband works for the Colorado School of Mines at the Metallurgy department. I am a musician and teacher. A Mom and Grand mom. We love the outdoors, family and studying the scriptures.
Why the Owner Chose Blue River
We love the quiet, the spectacular mountain views, the moss rock fire place. We like not being with all the "tourists and traffic". Blue river is very close. A little stream runs in the back of the property.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
We like to have friends come. We enjoy the cool crisp air, bird watching, cozy fires. Fun cooking in the little kitchen. We like to snow shoe.

This is where I come whenever I look to getaway for a few days.Starting with the scenic drive from Denver, then arriving at the cabin where I can really relax in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. There's a full kitchen where IF I feel like cooking I can and if not, there is some great places to eat in town that's not too far away.The bed's are just the right firmness for a great night's sleep, and the view is fabulous from just about anyroom. If it's action you're looking for there's plenty to do. Whether it's skiing, hiking, fishing,or nature walks,to shopping in downtown Breckenridge. There's anice big deck that you can just sit and relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of mountain living.It's truly a great place to revive and refresh your body, mind and spirit!

"The rustic atmosphere is a refreshing change from the conventional hotel room. At the cabin you feel like you're really "living" Colorado. You make a cozy little fire in the fire place and look out the window and see the icicles forming on the eves and feel like you're in a winter wonderland! There's a kitchen fully equipped to handle any size breakfast, and there is nothing like waking up to the smell of bacon and pancakes! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to make a memory."

I have used this home many times over the years and have come to find it a place of relaxing and recharging. You can't help but be pacified by the gentle breezes and the sound of the creek behind the house. I find it to be a retreat for those truly in need of an escape from the day to day. Highly recommend it!

We have enjoyed owning this darling A frame cabin for twenty years. It has many great memories of laughs, fun, fellowship, great exercise, and a refreshing change of scenery. Come enjoy our home away from home, and see if you don't just love it! It's away from the crowds but easy to get to the "action".
