Welcome to our perfect beach home. We have just remodeled our superbly sized pool and deck for 2010! There are not many properties featuring a 30' by 15' pool with the depth or 3' to 9'. The pool has a changing mood light for those evening swims. We have been remodeling the house since we bought it late in 2008. It has been repainted; new patio, brand new furniture including beds; sofa; TVs etc. It has just about everything a renter needs as we use our own experience to go by. It offers over 2000 sq ft of open plan living to just kick back and relax.
When you walk in through the front door you will be greeted by a spacious open plan layout. We have organised it so that you have a dining area as well as the breakfast bar. The comfy living area at the back of the house has a big, comfy leather sofa to kick back and relax; you can gaze out into the sunny tropical garden with views over the pool and patio or watch the wide selection of cable on a brand new 42" LCD TV. There are ceiling fans and lighting options galore to provide you with a comfortable and cozy atmosphere after the sun has set.
The hall off the living area leads to the two main bedrooms with the master having a nice sized en-suite with dual head shower and body jets... a perfect way to wash away the day and get ready for the evening. The third bedroom is directly off the living area on the other side of the house. All rooms have in-built closets with ample hanging and shelf space.
The main bathroom has just been completely built from scratch, with top of the line fitted shower, vanity etc. This is accessible either from the living area or the hall for convenience. The house has natural marble floors throughout.
But beach life is all about sun, sea and sand!! In the privacy of your own grounds (house sits on a 1/3 of an acre) you have a spacious tropical garden with a 30x15 ft generous sized pool, we've recently added pool heating. Sit back and relax on the newly laid 15' x 15' patio and soak up the sun or laze under the shade of a palm.
The beach is literally a minute or twos walk away, so hire a board from one of the surf shops within walking distance in downtown and hit the beach... there is some great glassy swells in the morning...
As you may have guessed this is our second home, we have rented in various locations all over Florida from Miami to Vero Beach to Orlando and of course Cocoa Beach!! We decided to set some roots in Cocoa Beach.... it is the perfect location for your Florida holiday being only an hour from Orlando airport and all of the Theme Park attractions. You can choose in the morning to go to the beach or the park and you don't have to opt to do a split location holiday to get the best of both worlds, it's perfect!
The house is located in downtown Cocoa Beach and is only 10 minutes walk to some great restaurants allowing Dad to have a drink! I hated all the driving everywhere in Kissimee and the diet cola for dinner!!

Myself, my wife and two children love our holidays and 6 years ago we came to Orlando to do the whole Disney thing. We did it, we loved it. We loved America, the restaurants, the shops, the sun... the whole deal. We came back 3 more times.. By that time I knew the parks too well and decided I would like to do something different so we rented a house at Cocoa Beach. I love the sea and the whole beach thing. I wanted to learn to surf and hang ten... etc. You get the picture! We loved Coca Beach and so came back a second time... this time round it struck me, why don't we buy a place here as we love it so much.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Proximity to the beach. The space to stretch out, not be in each others way, not like being in a hotel. It's like home from home. Sunsets are a must, the walk along the beach in the morning and the evening is a must; just forget the stresses back home and enjoy!
Cool beach bar, great music, atmosphere and good food. Great spot for taking a break from the sun and having a bite to eat. Within walking distance.
Superb chinese food!! Careful you don't order too much :-) Worth booking a table else you may have to wait, very popular with the locals
Great food, a bit like Cheers in the bar. Meet the locals have a chat whilst eating great food. Also has a proper restaurant area for fine dinning if you prefer something a 'little' more formal.
A great old pier, there's a bar and a great ice cream / soda parlour there too
The world famous, huge, 24 hour surf shop. Great for clothes, boards, you name it... And there's a starbucks, and a restaurant with sharks!

A favourite with locals and visitors alike. Everyone goes here for breakfast... And they have great cakes etc. A must try!
Some of the best Thai curries and Sushi I have tasted. The Boat for One sushi is superb, a work of art. You can sit in or they will deliver takeout.
Excellent coffee, juices, salads, lunch entres etc. Wifi, eat in or take out. They roast their own beans on site, have wine tasting evenings etc. Very popular with the locals and have a great range of local artists work on display.

Hi, I'm Stuart and I live in the UK not far from London with my wife and two children. I have a love for the outdoors and action sports. I love the beach and the whole beach life vibe, the beach provides the perfect balance for us. I can surf, kiteboard, waveski and my wife and children can enjoy lazing by the pool or having fun on the beach.
I have been to several beach destinations worldwide and been a regular to Florida for several years. I love Florida and decided I wanted my second home here with a view to spending more time here in the future. We have stayed in a number of locations in Florida and found Cocoa Beach to have it all. It is homely and friendly, not too commercial yet access to all you would want for a holiday. I specifically chose the downtown area of Cocoa Beach because of the accessibility of most amenities by foot. It's great to be able to walk on a lovely warm summers evening down to Bernards for a cool margarita or two!
My family and I try to come out to Cocoa Beach at least twice a year, though it is never enough and I never want to return home! We are having a terrific vacation! I love the fact that if the ocean is cold or rough, the pool is here, waiting to be enjoyed by all. Everything you could want or need for a very comfortable stay in the house is here. We are enjoying our last week in the house and wish we could stay forever! We are planning to return next year, hopefully!! Any restaurant you could want is within a short drive, and there are many local places to try.Our son and his family went to Disney from here and it was a short hour drive. Thank you, Stuart for "lending" us your terrific house!
