Right off the great room there is a huge screened porch that is perfect for reading a book or a game of cards with friends after a day at the pool and beach. Nearly 100K of renovations and custom decorations have been put into this gorgeous 2000 square foot beach home making it the perfect vacation rental for your family, golf trips and girls weekends! The home is accommodating to multiple families.
Bike or walk to nearby Beach, Golf Courses, South Beach Marina, Harbourtown, Sea Pines Horse Stables and Nature Preserves. You can walk or use our bikes and bike to a beautiful private beach down a quiet and easy accessible beach path. If you are craving a more lively beach scene, hop in your car - the Sea Pines Beach Club is a 2 minute drive away and has full service restaurant and bar there for your convenience - you might even catch a local band or have a glass of wine at the beachfront bar. There is a brand new private in-ground pool, tranquil lakefront setting with lake access and on-site fishing just steps from your screened porch. With your rental, you are more than welcome to use our beach bikes and helmets which will save you over a hundred dollars for the week. There are 4 adult bikes, a tandem, a child seat for little ones, and a bike trailer/kiddy that you can use to give kids a ride or pack up your beach gear and take to the beach! This home is part of a nature paradise with beautiful live oaks, brand new private pool, and a tranquil lake. Rest assured, the home has been carefully updated to be kid friendly and safe. The owners have 3 young kids and there are multiple locks and restrictions to keep the little ones safe from the outdoor paradise.
This Lawton Forest home is inviting in every detail. As you enter through the foyer you will immediately notice the warm and open home with many brand new upgrades including beaded board and trim, moldings, and awesome beach decor with brand new heart of pine engineered flooring, travertine and ceramic tiles. The great room is the center of the house and has large plush sofas, a lounge chair, wood burning fireplace, and a brand new plasma TV with DVD player and over 30 movies to choose from. The great room is completely open with views into the dining room, den, kitchen, and screened porch out to the private pool, outdoor patio, live oaks, and onto the lake. The open dining room is decorated with a beautiful large new dining table, chairs for 8, and large picture window with tons of natural light. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs with amazing new custom cabinetry, granite countertops, brand new stainless steel appliances, and huge farmhouse sink. Just steps outside the kitchen door is a new stainless steel gas grill ready for those fish caught fresh from the lake! The kitchen has great views through the bay window out to the pool, live oaks, and lake. From the great room, double sliding doors open out to the enormous vaulted screened porch with skylights, cozy lounge area, dual ceiling fans, and unbelievable views out to the very private pool, patio, and of course the gorgeous 80 acre Lake. The new, large 15x30 pool (which can be heated for an additional fee) and patio are great for entertaining a group, playing with the kids, or just relaxing after a long day at the beach.
Back inside, you will find three bedrooms, a large den/playroom, and two bathrooms. The master suite is enormous with a new king bed, brand new Posteurpedic mattresses, a new 42 inch plasma TV, large walk in closet, and completely renovated bathroom. The master bath has a brand new tub/shower with tile surround, new tile flooring, new fixtures, and Thomasville cabinetry with a new granite undermount sink. The master suite also features a HUGE picture window with unbelievable views out to the live oaks and lake. The second bedroom is very cozy and private featuring a brand new Pottery Barn King Bed with new mattresses, dresser, and plasma TV. The third bedroom is ideal for kids with multiple families featuring 2 bunk beds (4 twins) large closet, dresser, and new plasma TV and DVD. The kids bedroom has a very fun beach theme sure to add excitement to a family vacation! If your sleeping arrangements require additional space, the den also can be used as a 4th bedroom with a brand new queen sleeper sofa and double french doors that can be closed to provide extra privacy.

The best part of this house was enjoying the outside in the back. It was great! You could go from the nice, spacious screened porch, where we spent most of our time when at the house, to the pool and then a few more steps and you were at the lake. You could also, very easily, enjoy seeing the lake from the screened porch as well. We enjoyed fishing at the lake and at times, being visited by the alligators. We also liked having the bikes on site that saved us bike rental money. We used them everyday. We also liked the "Pottery Barn" decor the owners used in thier home. We had 6 people in our party and there was more than enough room in the house for all of us. However, I wasn't overly happy with the cleanliness of the house. After talking to the owner, she assured me she had talked to her property manager and was going with new cleaning people. That would be a HUGE plus to this house. I also would have liked to see the kitchen stocked with more basics for cooking...pans, measuring cups, casseroles, etc. We always look forward to vacationing in Sea Pines. It can't be beat!

We have stayed at this property for the second year and have found it to be extremely accommodating for 4 adults and 2 children, with all the conveniences of home. The kitchen was well-equipped and so new and clean. Having 2 king sized beds was a plus. It was so pleasant and enjoyable to have the private pool and a nice view of the lake, watching the alligator,"flying" fish and birds. We hope to make this our vacation destination for a number of years. Also a great location!! The owners were wonderful to work with.

As a weeks relaxation following our wedding, and before setting off to the more 'hectic' destinations of Vegas and San Francisco, Hilton Head Island and more importantly this house proved a perfect choice. The house was imaculate and well set out with all the facilities couples or families with children would need. The area is very bicycle friendly, so to have use of the bikes provided was a godsend. Would recommend this as a holiday retreat to everyone.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
