The condo was everything we expected based on the HomeAway advertisement, plus some! And the fenced in back yard was a hit with our Shih Tzu. The condo was clean and well appointed. Other reviews have mentioned being provided things like paper products, coffee/filters, etc., but I was most impressed that they provided firewood and fire starter materials to use in the adorable fireplace. How convenient is that!? We came to Santa Fe for the skiing and the condo was conveniently located for mountain access, while still a very short drive to restaurants and shopping. For those in search of great margaritas and Mexican food, you can’t miss Maria’s New Mexican Kitchen. It was our favorite restaurants and has the BEST margaritas and green chili stew in the country! If good margaritas are important to you, don’t waste your time on La Choza, where their margaritas taste like their base mix is grapefruit juice. Not good! For those looking for non-Mexican food, be sure to try Jinja Bar and Bistro, an Asian restaurant with loads of atmosphere and incredible food and service. Word of warning, these places are popular, call head for a reservation. We would definitely choose this condo again.

We stayed February 19-22 and had a nice stay. MUCH better than a hotel. Quiet and close to everything without being in the middle of it. Great for a ski getaway!

Great Place To Stay

Clean, nice furniture, within 1.5 miles of just about everything in Santa Fe. We ate at Cowgirls, amazing frito pie! Plenty of linens available. Not too far from Ski Santa Fe and the skiing was great! Everything worked great. Asked my then girlfriend, now fiance, to marry me there with a fire burning in the Kiva fireplace and snow coming down outside. We had a great time! Downtown Santa Fe is a pretty neat place to go walk around.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was the second time we stayed here. It was even better than the first time! When we arrived, the cleaning staff was still there. They were extremely gracious and let us bring all of our stuff in and continued doing what they needed to do. As before, the place was spotless and well appointed. We noticed new furnishings and the decor had been updated. Beautiful. It had a cd player with an ipod hookup that was a delightful bonus. We would highly recommend this. It is located just a few blocks from a shopping center and is not more than a 5 minute drive to the plaza. (If you are really interested in hoofing it from the condo to the plaza, you could). We look forward to staying there again in the future. Clean, comfortable, and just a cozy inviting atmosphere. The 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bath works well. Having onsite washer and dryer is great too! You can't beat this for the price. Thank you for the fabulous getaway spot!! We will be back

We spent a week in this delightful condo with our dogs and had a great time. Everything you could possibly need is included (except food, of course). There are extra supplies of paper products, plenty of cleaning supplies, and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware, and basic spices. All of the furniture is comfortable, even the sofa bed, which we've found rarely to be the case. And the bed in the master bedroom is super comfortable. The patio is great for sitting out in the evening (it was too hot during the day). It is very private and our dogs loved it. This is probably our tenth vacation rental in Santa Fe and none have come close in terms of location, amenities, and value. We came for the Opera, which is a wonderful experience. We also visited the New Mexico History Museum and Palace of the Governors, although all of the museums in Santa Fe are worth a visit. We found two good restaurants at the nearby De Vargas Mall - Artrisco and Jinja. We also love the Del Charro bar and restaurant at the Inn of the Governors on Don Gaspar. They have shakers of margaritias for $6.00 and a great menu of inexpensive light meals. This condo is a wonderful place for exploring Santa Fe and the surrounding area.

Nice Condo in Santa Fe

The Condo was very clean and well decorated. It has a nice back patio area, although it is on the groud floor with not much of a view, it was a nice place to have coffee in the mornings. Beds were comfortable, everything worked well. Well, except the wireless internet, for some reason it keeps dropping the connection, you just have to keep re-connecting ????? The location is ok, I would not say walking distance to the plaza,unless you are willing to cross a couple of busy streets and walk about a mile and a half. We always drove down to the plaza and parked near by. We did enjoy walking early in the mornings in the neighborhood near the condo. Overall very pleased with the price and location value.

Our visit was May 21 - 23 2011. We had 3 adults in our party and 2 dogs. This was the perfect little getaway place. It was close to the plaza, shopping, and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet and had sidewalks where we could walk the dogs. The accommodations were wonderful. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a printer right in the condo! We took advantage of the fireplace. Cozy, comfortable,and clean, you can't beat this. It had a little patio outside where we dined at night when not out at one of the local eateries. With 3 adults, it was nice having a 1/2 bath attached to one of the bedrooms and a full bath accessible by all. Thanks so much for a really nice time. We will be back! Mike, Carin, & Chris

We recently had the opportunity to stay here and we thouroughly enjoyed it. Beautifully furnished, all the amenities, and close to the heart of the city. The feel of Santa Fe permiates all the rooms and it is very well supplied and has all the creature comforts one could ask for.

Santa Fe Getaway

Loved staying here! Very close to all the downtown shops. Easy to get in and out of. Very nice decor, very peaceful. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and we were able to go to the fireworks, the pancake fest and the wine fest!'. Always nice to come 'home' instead of a hotel. Very important when traveling with a teenager!!

My wife, Cindy, and I stayed at this condo in early October and we had a wonderful stay. The photos of the property were exactly what we found when we arrived. The location is very convenient but we didn't try walking to the central part of Santa Fe. The furnishings and amenities were great and overall we really enjoyed our visit. One week in Santa Fe is too short and we will return.

We stayed at this lovely condo in the fall of 2009 and it was perfect. Easy to get to and just far enough away from the square to avoid traffic but only a few minutes away from all the action. The condo is exactly as pictured and the owner Scott was easy to work with. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The unit was in good shape when we arrived and the pictures on the website are a good indication of the layout. The location was less than a mile away from the Plaza and thus walking distance if you don't mind walking along high traffic streets. My granddaughters enjoyed playing in the back yard, making the equivalents of snow angels in the pea gravel. A nice, cozy house.

We stayed in this condo for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. It was decorated very nicely-not tacky like some we have stayed in. The beds were extremely comfortable. Location was great-fairly close to downtown and close to a shopping center. We would walk to Java Joes every morning for coffee. Kitchen was well equipped and we made one breakfast and one dinner there-saved us a little money on the food bill. All in all-very enjoyable.
