We loved this house and hopefully will return. The location at Hatcher lake was easily accessible to Pagosa itself, not making any trek unreasonably longer. The house is warm, cozy, and inviting. The master bedroom/bath was spacious and we loved the views in the morning and the stars (from bed) at night, not to mention that the sunny winter weather allowed us to enjoy the upstairs balcony. Having the large master closet was helpful. The kids used the other two upstairs bedrooms and bath and all accomodations for them worked well, too. The kitchen/great room combo with the large table allowed us to be together for meals and long nights of dominos and other family games. Glad to have a large crock pot available to have some meals prepped after a long day on the slopes. Having a mud room off of the climate-controlled garage kept any snow mess from entering the house. The gas fireplace hearth gave us a good place to dry gloves, etc., after snowboarding. We would love to return in warmer weather to serve meals out on the nice lower deck. Views were awesome! All in all, this is a very comfy mountain home for a family with kids (ours are all older teens) to enjoy. Thanks so much!

We loved our stay at this property. Arrived just after noon on Thanksgiving Day and were able to produce a wonderful traditional Thanksgiving dinner by that evening. The beds are very comfortable. The home was very clean and tidy. The skiing was great! Would gladly recommend this home to others!!

Dear Fran and Duane, We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home during the month of July. The house was everything you promised and more. It felt so much like home that we hated to leave, even after being there a month. We were able to travel to other parts of the state during our stay and took our 15 year old grandson to some amazing places in Colorado. We went to Montrose to the Black Canyon, rode the train from Durango to Silverton, drove to Creede, went fly fishing and many other adventures. Some days we stayed at the house and enjoyed the relaxation and solitude. We wanted you to know how much we appreciate the opportunity to rent your wonderful home and how much we enjoyed Pagosa Springs and all of Colorado. Our grandson says he wants to live in Colorado when he grows up and finishes school. We would love to return some time in the future for another stay, but we haven't made plans just yet. Our family spent the last wk of Dec and New Year's at your house in Pagosa Springs. The house and location were fantastic. It was beautiful and so comfortable for a family of 7, and the views were great. Everything we needed was there and in excellent condition. We had great skiing while there, and enjoyed the Hot Springs. We all want to come back for another visit in the summer to bring our bikes. We would recommend this accommodation to all our friends. The home and its appointments were more than we expected during our 9 night visit in August. Very well maintained and extremely well equipped, with Great Views! You certainly have a beautiful home and so well maintained and decorated. We loved the back deck, and ate breakfast, lunch, & dinner out there with its wonderful mountain views. We definitely give this house our highest 5 Star recommendation. I also want to comment on the excellent maintenance service. We had a plumbing problem and the maintenance service man was there within 10 minutes of our call. He was very professional, cleaned up after himself, and even gave us fishing tips! We enjoyed our July vacation and stay at your house. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. The neighborhood was convenient yet so quite and peaceful. It was great having the National Forest so close, and we hiked a lot. We relaxed and soaked at the Hot Springs Resort in Pagosa, and watched the stars at night from your back patio. We did have one problem with the TV Satellite Dish, and you were quick to return our call and call the Dish Network company. We just returned home to Texas after an amazing week staying at your Pagosa Springs house. We were with our friends from Scotland, and we have all rented many homes over the last six years and your home was by far the best ever! The house was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need. We hiked the trails, visited nearby Chimney Rock, and the highlight was the Durango to Silverton Railroad Train Ride. We had the opportunity to stay at your Pagosa Springs house this summer and enjoyed the mountain and lake views everyday. The home is nicely decorated and feels very comfortable for two families. We have no complaints and can find no flaws. The outdoor fireplace added an extra enjoyment. We were close to the golf course as well as fishing! We really enjoyed ourselves. Your home was amazing and set ups so nice. You thought of everything, and give you an A+. Loved the area and neighborhood for walking, hiking, and biking. And no noise, no traffic! But still a short drive to shopping and everything. And your neighbors were so welcoming and friendly, they gave us some fresh vegetables from their garden. Totaly enjoyed our October vacation at your Colorado home in Pagosa. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the trees, the fall colors, and the view from the deck.
