Caracol Estates is a luxury development on "Gringo Hill" overlooking the plaza and beach of Sayulita, both a five-minute walk away. It has a one-acre extensively landscaped site; with only four units, the property offers its guests privacy and quiet.
Casa Caracol is the main house. It is self-contained, air conditioned, and was extensively renovated from 2005 to 2008. It has extensive ocean and mountain views and outdoor areas. Shared amenities include a pool-to-die-for complete with palapa seating area for 10 and extensive gardens that are maintained by a full time gardener, 1,000 feet of walking paths, and an open viewing site overlooking the town and ocean.

About the owner: JoAnn and I were born in Saskatchewan, and moved to the Vancouver area in 1989. We have three grown children. We've been holidaying in Mexico since 1995 in a variety of locations on the west coast, where travel connections are easiest. We prefer beach locations and like to stay in a home, rather than a resort or hotel.
Why the Owner Chose Sayulita:
Sayulita is a small oceanside town with a great sandy beach that is popular with surfers and nonsurfers alike. The town is centered on a bustling plaza. It's safe, with all the amenities one could want on a holiday, and you don't need a car to get around. The townsite is compact, and the local bus service connections are excellent; Puerto Vallarta airport is 45 minutes and 25 pesos away

Caracol has been designed as a great spot to relax, and we maintain it that way. We have more than an acre of attractive gardens that are a pleasure to explore. The solar-heated pool is a wonderful spot to relax; interesting views abound. We limit the number of guests and visitors, require damage deposits, don't allow parties and insist that quiet hours be followed.
