Why the Owner Chose Bozeman
My husband was born just over the hill in Livingston, Montana. I arrived in Montana via Iowa and Colorado. We own a retail business in Bozeman. Bozeman has been a wonderful place to raise our children. Now that they are grown, and we have capable people managing our business, we are able to travel more. We decided to turn our home into a vacation rental in 2008.
We know what we like in a vacation rental - having stayed in several VRBO homes ourselves. We have worked to make our home a very comfortable, clean, home- away-from-home for you, your family and friends to relax and enjoy.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the area. We have helped with such things as arranging caterers and bicycle rentals, provided information on local ski areas and bus routes. Also where to find little known places like the American Computer, Children's Museum and Pioneer Museum. Just let us know what you like & we can point you in the right direction.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is located within a very short walk of Bozeman's Premiere Neighborhood Destination—South Towne Square. Featuring something for everyone; coffee shops, eclectic food choices, European Salon, convenience services, fine dining and a variety of other business offerings. This vibrant new neighborhood center is always a favorite with our guests.
*Sola Café is a community-gathering place with delicious food and coffee, Sola serves fine espresso drinks, house baked goods, salads, soups, paninis, and savory entree items. Sola offers full dinner service with locally inspired fare, wines and local microbrews.
*Food For Thought specializes in creative and healthy foods prepared fresh daily on site. Their ample display cases are filled with fresh foods. Food For Thought bakes fresh bread, pastries, and desserts everyday. Their made-to-order sandwiches are always prepared on fresh baked breads.
*Lemongrass Thai very first (and only) traditional Thai restaurant in Bozeman. It features the owner’s family recipes and cooking style.
Moberry offers two types of yogurt--green tea and tarts. The toppings include granola, various frozen fruits, candies, brownie bits, crumbled Oreos, and a few different kinds of sauces.
*Seven Sushi Sake opened in the fall of 2010 to rave reviews.
*Isabelle’s European Saloon & Women’s Clothing
*Gallatin Laundry drop-off center is very convenient.

I can't say enough positive things about the Bare's House, it was so clean, warm and cozy. It was a perfect place for our 2 families to converge for Xmas and still feel at home. The kitchen was better equiped then mine. The whole house is nicely decorated, with 2 living areas to allow for TV and non-TV familiy time. The hot tub is the icing on the cake after a day of skiing. Thanks Kathi for sharing your home with us!

My family stayed in this home for a week while exploring Bozeman and the surrounding area. It was convenient, impeccably clean, and the owners could not have been nicer. Plenty of room for the kids, and a nice place to hang out. Especially the hot tub!! We went to the fair & the city pool. We walked to the museum and on gorgeous walking trails. Great restaurant, Sola, right up the street.

My wife and I celebrated 20 years of marriage at the Bare's home. It was warm, cozy and very clean. The home is outfitted with all the amenities one would expect for twice the price. The Bare's are wonderful people who are the ultimate hosts for a trip to Bozeman. Even better, there are two great restaurants within walking distance of the home (The Sola Cafe and Lemongrass Thai). Bottom line...I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation in Bozeman!

We were in Bozeman for a family wedding. Your house was appreciated by all 7 adults. The number & layout of the bathrooms and bedrooms were fantastic. We were also pleased by the solid floors - no squeaky noises to wake us up. The younger folks were impressed by the hot tub – particularly the lighting! Because we moved about the area independently of each other, the coded (keypad) lock was very nice – no need to exchange keys. Thanks so much for making the house available. We hope to be a guest in your home again when we return here. Sincerely, Richard & Dorothea L., Burke, VA Kim & Ethan V., Denver, Co. Heather & Jeremy L., South Riding, VA Jason L., Burke, VA P.S. Because houses like this take up more ground, you rarely see this type of floor plan in new homes back east. It’s a nice layout.

I live in Bozeman and when my family came out for a week to visit, they stayed at Kathi and Montie's house. It was far beyond our expectations! Clean, comfortable and stocked with every amenity you can think of. Perfectly located next to The Museum of the Rockies (they went back 3 times), plus plenty of great eating. The hot tub is glorious, the beds all comfy, the neighborhood quiet. One morning was chilly with socked-in rain and we were perfectly happy to stay put, drink extra coffee and relax. The Bare's have really gone above and beyond with attention and caring details. I don't hesitate to recommend their house to anyone. They're also very nice people!

Thank you very much for allowing us to rent your property--it was perfect!! We would not have been able to find anything nearly as impressive at a hotel. The listing is very accurate and the property very well cared for. The owner was very helpful in answering questions and giving us the information we needed there is a cool home atmosphere and we got to use a hot tub.:) Plus it was within walking distance of where we needed to get which we enjoyed because we drove a long way the previous 2 days and really didnt want to walk.:) Thanks again highly recommend it!

We stayed over the 2010 New Years with some friends and had a great time. The house is spacious, even for all 8 of us, and had everything we needed for a great weekend. We mostly stayed in the home and played games and relaxed. Very nice place.
