This is a wonderful apartment with a living room which has fantastic of Holyrood Park and views which stretch down the east coast.
Being only a couple of minutes walk from the Royal Mile there is lots to see and do in the area. Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament are less than 5 minutes walk and Princes Street and the Castle are within easy walking distance. Salisbury Crags and Arthur’s Seat close by and from the top of either you have some of the best views of the city. For those who don't wish to walk the city tour bus leaves from just outside the apartment block.
This part of the Royal Mile has many good restaurants so there's no excuse to stay in and cook. It's a great place to spend time even if you don't want to go out and enjoy Edinburgh.
The beds are very comfortable and covered with crisp cotton sheets. There are ample fluffy white towels in the cupboard and hair dryers for your use.
It feels like home away from home and with the Wifi you can keep in touch with work or friends and family if you want to.
Secure parking is available in the apartment block.

Why the Owner Chose Edinburgh
The apartment is in a brilliant part of the city, very close to the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and the Park. The views are wonderful and the amount of sunlight just makes you feel good. You can sit and watch the city and enjoy it even when it's wet outside. It's a very easy apartment to live in. There's a lift and secure parking and everything here you should need and it's a lovely place to come home to at the end of a busy day.
The Palace of Holyrood, the official residence in Scotland of Her Majesty The Queen. Situated at the end of Royal Mile, well worth a visit for it's rich history. Also worth a visit is Queen's Gallery,

I've lived in and around Edinburgh all my life. It's a wonderful city and just gets better and better. I used to rent out self-catering cottages in East Lothian but since moving to Edinburgh with my family we have bought a couple of apartments in the Old Town which we rent out. I studied design at college so enjoy decorating and furnishing of the properties. We've meet some great people who've come to stay from all over the world and made lots of new friends.

My friend and I stayed here for our Scotland adventure. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, lots of amenities, wonderful location and Katie a delight to work with. Nice little grocery store on the corner, pizza place right out the front door, tour bus pickup at Dynamic Earth down the street, Royal Mile a short walk up the hill, really everything right around you! Having the parking spot made it very easy for us to head out on our day trips and not worry about trying to find a place to park at the end of the day. We had a wonderful trip and so glad we stayed here. Thank you!

Katie, Thank you for sharing your lovely penthouse flat with us. The flat is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, well equipped and comfortable. My only regret is that our visit there was MUCH too short. We will return and would not consider staying anywhere else. It has location, location, location .... just a short walk to the Royal Mile, local attractions, shops, and restaurants. Thank you for all of the information, maps, and suggestions that you provided. My son found the tailor that you recommended and was so impressed with the quality of his work that he bought another kilt, two waist coats and all accessories. Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. We are looking forward to our next trip!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Holyrood Penthouse. The view of Arthur's Seat and the Crags was gorgeous. It was walking distance from Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile. Great restaurants, Foodies downstairs for a quick coffee and breakfast, if you don't feel like cooking. Gorgeous accomodations. What more could one ask for?

The lovely apartment was perfect for our vacation. So close and convenient to everything and the views were stunning. The apartment also included a space for our rental car in the attached parking garage which was very helpful. So much better and more comfortable than a hotel. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone!
