This house is located in the Upper Canyon area of Ruidoso. A beautiful area with abundant wildlife. Five minutes from downtown Ruidoso shopping and restaurants, and less than ten minutes from Ruidoso Downs racetrack and the Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino. Both of these venues have well known entertainers booked throughout the year.
There are two separate living room areas in the house, one on each of the two levels. Both of them have large flat screen TVs with DVDs and VCRs. There is a bathroom, office/daybed, large bedroom with a king size bed., and living area on the first level. The second level has three bedrooms, two have king size beds and the other a queen size bed.
The hot tub is located on the first level deck. There is also a deck off the second level master bedroom and living area and kitchen.

We stayed in this home over the 4th of July weekend in 2010 and loved it. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 6 children, ranging in age from 1-15. The house was immaculate, very well decorated, and had very comfortable beds and furniture. The linens were top-notch! The owners are very friendly and easy to work with and obviously take very good care of this house. This home is very kid friendly, with all of the appropriate safety precautions (gate at top of stairs, etc.) The hot tub is very clean. The views from this home are spectacular, and the home is situated in a beautiful wooded area, with tons of wildlife. We saw lots of dear grazing in the woods right around the home. The only potential downside to this home is that it does not have air conditioning (nor do most homes in the area). We kept the windows open and the fans running and were comfortable, especially at night. Some in our party felt a little warm during the day, but I was fine.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

What a majestic location! We just spent a fabulous long weekend at 5'oclock and we couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. The home is very inviting and comfortable with a great floor plan. The hot tub is a bonus especially after a long day of skiing. Cindy has lovingly decorated each room with care and displays beautiful photos that she has taken of local wildlife. Joey is very helpful and informative and can always be reached to answer questions. The highlight of the trip was star-gazing from the deck with a nice glass of wine. It feels like you can reach out and touch the stars. Thank you Joey and Cindy for sharing your gem of a home with us.

Christmas 2010 was amazing at It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere. SNOW, SNOW, SNOW. A winter wonderland. A perfect house for a family (we had grandparents, married kids and a 4 yr old and 14 month old). The beds are AMAZING!!! We never slept better. A toddler friendly home. Couldn't beleive that they had a gate at the top of the stairs a true life saver. We had hauled our high chair and then found one there as well as a stroller! What a plus. The home is beautifully equipped. Can't imagine anything else you would need. We will definitely come back. Maybe in the summer when we can sit on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Thanks for making our Christmas 2010 memorable.

We stayed at 5 o'clock over the MLK weekend. House was even nicer in person than it looked in the pictures (and we were pretty excited by the pictures). We had 10 people (4 adults, 6 children) and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and just hang out. The decks and views are incredible, very relaxing to just sit and enjoy a drink on the patio. Hot tub was great after a long day of skiing. The 2 livings areas were perfect as we were able to send the kids downstairs where they were happy and the adults could have a little peace and quiet upstairs. The upstairs tv is incredible, I believe it is a 60" LCD hi-def, which was a nice bonus for watching the playoff games. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and Joey and Cindy made sure everything went smoothly. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Ruidoso.

This home is absolutely fabulous. It is spacious and delightfully furnished. It is a great house for a couple of families because of the upstairs living area and bedrooms and the downstairs living area and bedrooms. The grandparents were able to have their own space and my husband and I, with our 3 kids, were able to have our own space! The view of the mountains from the deck is spectacular. It is very close to the ski road turn off and just a minute from town. The owners were very attentive to our every need and were easily reached when we had a question about the property. We highly recommend this home!
