Our family of 6(my husband and I and our two adult children and their spouses) stayed at The Regent Grand from March 9 to 16, 2013. The unit is beautiful-located on the 3rd floor on the end and directly on the beach. We all had a spacious bedroom and private bathrooms with beautiful showers. The living area and kitchen allowed us to spread out/watch TV and movies/make breakfast and lunch, etc. We ate out at many nice restaurants and Coco Bistro and Mango Reef were our favorites. We spent the majority of our time at the beach but spent a few days by the pool when it was windy. It is helpful that the pool is on the opposite side of the beach and is protected from the wind. That is not the case at many resorts in Provo. The pool area is absolutely beautiful with lots of very nice chairs. We never had a problem finding chairs/umbrellas at the beach. The location is perfect-within walking distance to the grocery store and many restaurants. We did rent a car from Grace Bay Rentals-very inexpensive. We have stayed at several other places on Grace Bay and do not need to look further. Candy, the owner, was very helpful and allowed us to change our reservation. Nicola, the local representative, made all of our dinner reservations and was helpful with other things during our stay. We all agreed that we wanted to return again and stay in the same unit. We loved the fruit basket and made good use of that!

Relaxing vacation

Beautiful condo on the beach. Great view. Walked on the beach to dinner most nights with multiple restaurants in close proximity (also a small grocery store within walking distance). Very relaxing for our family (including two teenagers) Favorite restaurant was Bay Bistro, least favorite Pizza Pizza (New Year's Day without reservations, so this was our fourth choice, but 1 hr 15 min to get a pizza) Scuba diving was ok. Went with Caicos Adventures, but 45 minute boat ride to the reef. I'm not particularly fond of boat rides, but the water was calm. There were other dive outfits that didn't go out as far.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Family Vacation Provo Paradise

What a great week we had in Provo - top of the list for family vacations. We had all three college-aged kids with us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed all water activities during the week. The resort is just beautiful, with a pool that is so inviting. Candy & Craig's unit was just perfect for our family of five - breakfast and dinners on the balcony with a lovely breeze, close proximity (walking) to many restaurants, grocery store, and biking distance to fantastic snorkeling reefs (Smith's Reef preferred). Everything we needed was there for us...we had THE best time, and have photos to remember it! We'll be back!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Fantastic stay at the Regent Grand!

Craig and Candy's place in Provo is beautiful as well as comfortable! Our group encompassed three generations and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely! The unit is so spacious and well appointed. We all had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the stunning view of Grace Bay. The pool was magnificent, the beach was spectacular, and it was the perfect location for shopping and restaurants. Craig and Candy are wonderful to work with; Candy always got back to me promptly to answer questions I had about the resort as well as the island. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone!

Perfect in every way!

We just returned from a week in this gorgeous 3 BR condo at the Regent Grand. This place is amazing! Wall to wall marble, sparkling in every corner, tasteful, comfy furnishings. Regent staff were attentive without being overbearing. David at the bar and Randall at the pool knew all of our names by day one. The only negative was the vacant lot next door. But if you turn your chair ever so slightly you can't tear your gaze from the gorgeous beach.

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Amazing property, owners, and management

The description and photographs contained in this listing do not adequately showcase the magnificent property owned by Candy & Craig. They were the first to respond to my handful of inquiries to various properties in Provo for a last-minute family getaway (by last-minute, I mean 7 days prior to arrival). They were very accommodating and helpful. Nicola reached out to us the day we booked & met us at the reception desk for a brief tour of the resort & condo. We felt right at home as soon as we met her. The welcome basket was greatly appreciated. Every staff member at the Regent Grand was polite, always providing service with a smile. The fitness center met all of our needs; the zero-entry pool and jacuzzis were splendid; the beach (and the attentive staff there) perfect. If you are looking for seashells, walk towards Grace Bay Club. For some reason, that is the only place my daughter and I found them. The view from the terrace will take your breath away. We prepared several meals in the fully-equipped kitchen (bonus points for having spices, vinegar and olive oil on hand). The stacked high-efficiency washer/dryer were easy to use. Exclusive wifi for the unit had a strong connection & was very fast. This was truly a home away from home. We thought we would rent a car for a day, but we did not want to leave the immediate area! There were always a few bicycles available at the front desk (convenient for a quick ride to Caicos Bakery). The shopping cart/trolley in the unit was an added convenience for our short stroll to the grocery store. We walked along the beach to a sunset dinner at Bay Bistro & for the Beach BBQ at Seven Stars. The Vix is very close & will deliver to the beach or poolside :-) We did the 1/2 day snorkel & conch dive excursion with Caicos Dream Tours. A great experience for all, but especially for our kids (ages 9, 11, 13). One of the crew members temporarily pulled up a starfish & helped the younger kids locate conchs on the ocean floor. The kids also helped to prep lunch (conch salad). To say we enjoyed our time at The Regent Grand is an understatement. Our vacation exceeded expectations. The kids enjoyed playing in the water, and my husband and I could sit back and relax if we were not in the water with them because they were always close by, whether in the pool or in the ocean. Thank you, Candy & Craig, for sharing your home with us. We loved everything about it. When we return to Provo, you will be the first ones we call!

Fabulous Time at Regent Grand

Spent the week at the Regent Grand. Our condo was perfect in every way. It was spacious and lovely and very comfortable. We did not want to come home! The property was lovely, too. The staff was so accomodating and kind. We loved the island. All of the people were so friendly. We had dinner at a different restaurant every night and each was as delicious as the other. The Caicos Bakery is definitely worth visiting. The pastries were fabulous. We did go to the grocery store. It is within walking distance and has everything. I can't wait to go back. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I have been on. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful condo and location

This was my husband and my 11th year of vacationing on Provo but our first stay at this lovely condo. We were not disappointed! The end unit is unbelievably private and the wrap around balcony was a nice benefit. We fell in love with the island from our very first visit and we would definately stay here again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

Owner response: We're happy to hear Sandy and her husband had another great time in Provo and that we played at least a small part in that. If we can't be there it's nice to know that others can take in the beauty of Provo and enjoy it as much as we do.

This was our second time in TCI after 8 years, not sure you can get better than the Devenport condo! Candy and Craig's place is equipped with everything you need; beautiful decor, stainless amenities, everything you need to make a chef's meal, comfortable beds, 3 well appointed bathrooms, oh did I mention the view, wow! Candy communicated immediately without delay! We were met when we arrived by Nicola and her staff who escorted us to the "home". A cell phone is provided for domestic and international calls, cable and WIFi. If you get a car, be sure to travel toward downtown, there is a fresh fish vendor on the left side of the road. We purchased snapper and grouper for a pennies compared to the grocery store. They will clean and fillet for you! This was truely a hassle free experience and we can't wait to return. Thank you Candy!

We have been to Provo 11 times and have stayed in 5 different properties. I can honestly say that this unit at the Regent Grand was one of the nicest we have seen! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful! That pool - stunning! Although it appears to be large, it has a small community feel - just the right number of people - not too quiet and certainly not crowded. The employees are so kind and helpful. Everyone we met at the resort were friendly and welcoming. Candy and Craigs unit is so tastefully decorated, really quite beautiful with all the amenities you could need. I would highly recommend staying here, but also want to keep it as our little secret : ) Hoping we can return again!

Thank you Craig & Candy for sharing your magnificent condo with us! We were looking for a quick recharge after a family reunion & wedding in Alabama and this trip to Turks & Caicos was exactly what we had in mind. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and completely stocked with everything we could possibly need. Nicola & her staff were terrific to work with. The pool, beach & grounds of The Regent Grand were impeccably maintained and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend renting this unit and we can't wait to stay here again! Our only regret is that we didn't book our stay for longer. Thanks again Craig & Candy, your condo is a true gem!

Wow! What a fantastic time we had at your unit at the Regent Grand! It was definitely one of the nicest places we've ever stayed (both your unit and the beach!!) The fruit basket was such a nice welcome, the kids really loved the fresh pineapple! They were both crying when we landed at O'Hare last night because they wanted to stay in Turks and Caicos and not come back to our dreary Chicago February weather. Who can blame them??! Thanks again!

I wanted to let you know our stay was AWESOME. This was our best trip yet to the Turks and Caicos and I believe your unit of the Regent Grand contributed to it. We really miss the beautiful scenery of the Regent Grand especially since the wind chill is 19 below zero tomorrow! Thanks again for an incredible vacation for our family.

Thank you for sharing your home in Turks and Caicos. Everyone at the Regent Grand was always very polite, courteous and helpful. Your home is beautifully decorated, everything custom made and coordinated. The pictures are great on the web site, but in person there was a definite "WOW". We appreciated having use of the WiFi service in the house. That was very convenient. The location is great. You could walk to the stores and restaurants at the Salt Mills and Ports of Call areas. It was a very busy week but when you have ocean water that beautiful you have to be in it! I hope you enjoy your home in Provo for years to come. It is beautiful and a has a fabulous view. I am sure it is a dream come true. Hopefully we will get back to Provo and would love to stay at your home again.

We were 4 adults and two children, ages 11-73. The Regent Grand is located on a perfect stretch of Grace Bay Beach. You can be as busy or as lazy as you like. Truly a gorgeous property. You can walk to several eating places (Sushi, Salt Mills Cafe, a pub, Italian, etc), liquor store and the grocery store. This unit is beautiful with a balcony offering stunning ocean views. The owners, Craig and Candy could not have been more helpful. They answered a ton of questions and offered suggestions that were most helpful. The staff at The Regent Grand could not have been more warm, helpful and welcoming. Really a fantastic place for a relaxing vacation! We rented a car and found the island simple to travel. Highly recommend SNUBA with Jodi. If you go to Provo and need 3 bedrooms in the perfect locale, this is THE PLACE!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us….it was far more beautiful than the photos depicted! As if the view were not enough, we were so touched by the generous fruit basket. What a treat, especially after a long day of travel! We were thrilled with all the amenities and the grounds were always in pristine condition when we awoke to use the pool, beach, etc. The staff was always so friendly, and helped us set up a couple excursions. We were impressed by their knowledge and willingness to help.We only wish we could have stayed longer….Again, thank you for sharing your amazing home – we miss it already and hope to return next year!
