Great getaway. Quiet, peaceful, and away from everything. Owner was great to work with and gave us clear directions on the use of the property. The place was well described and photographed. It was very clean when we arrived. Felt like our own home for a weekend. I would highly recommend this cabin and it's owner to potential renters.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Our short stay felt very much like being in our own home, everything we needed for a few quiet days, with the added benefit of having 2 kayak's, a canoe and seacycle at our own dock if we felt adventurous. My 2 children always enjoy exploring a place, and this provided lots of opportunity for them.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Wonderful cabin with all the comforts of home! Small beach for the kids to play, gentle slope, with clear water so you can watch the fish swimming off the doc. We had a spectacular weekend, could not have asked for more. Thanks!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My family spent a week at the cabin and found it to be exactly as advertised on VRBO. The cabin was clean, had many extras (boats, games, and such), and the lakeside location was beautiful. The lake and beach were clean and the people in the area seemed genuinely friendly. The owner, Adam, was responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this rental.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We traveled to the cabin for Memorial Day weekend and it could not have been a better experience! Too many memories to count.... the motorboat-free lake made for amazing early morning paddles on both the canoe and kayaks. Even caught a few fish from the dock and from the canoe. The cabin itself is quite charming and was the ideal size for our group (7 adults). Very comfortable for everyone. Definitely plan on coming back in the future.... we were all so sad to leave!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

I have been vacationing at this wonderful place for about 12 years...and will continue to do so. It is the one time of the year when all life's distractions have no choice but to take a back seat to "family". Due to the lack of motorboats and association rules, the water is pristine and it can become very easy to drift off into lakeside nap because of the wonderful "quiet" provided. If one chooses, there is plenty to do within 45 minutes or so from the lake. Shopping in Great Barrington or at the outlets in Lee...Stockbridge & Tanglewood...the 'Six Flags' in Agawam... antiquing in Sheffield or other areas...and several places to ski or hike for those so inclined. But at the end of the day it is the quality time spent with family in a place with zero distractions that matters most and for me, there has been no better place to reconnect with the people who matter most.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
