A family get away

We had a family gathering of 15 people over the Thanksgiving week and everyone enjoyed themselves. there was adequate sleeping for all, the kitchen was large enough and well stocked, and we all enjoyed the setting and dock area right on the water. We all relaxed and also enjoyed the fire pit telling old stories. Everything was as described and the only thing I would add is that perhaps more equipment in the downstairs family room as set up as a game room, and maybe a TV upstairs in the family room. A good time was had by all, and we would rent it again. The owner was very accessable and did what he said he would do.

We had 8 ladies staying here for a cross-stitch weekend and we were thrilled with the home. The weather was perfect, the home beautiful with lots of room for us to set up our "nests". It had a fantastic view of the lake. The owners were a delight to deal with; we would highly recommend this home.

I give this place an A+ We had a fantastic long weekend. Everything was even better than the descriptions listed. The house was very comfortable, clean and well-furnished. The outside area was beautiful and well maintained. Our preteen guys enjoyed fishing off of the dock, and the whole family had a great time on the pontoon boat we rented to explore the lake. The owner was quick with his replies, and easy to work with. I would gladly recommend this property to anyone!

This house is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice! It's the perfect set up for multiple families with kids. It was great being able to swim off the dock and enjoy smores at night sitting around the fire pit. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you for an amazing and memorable weekend!

My college girlfriends and husbands and kids all meet at the lake for a weekend every year. We chose this house to accommodate our growing group (3 kiddos now!) and it was perfect. Lots of space and room to play and very clean! The kitchen is the best part!! Super spacious and lots of room to cook, eat, and hang out! We will definitely be coming back next year if possible!

Once again, for the third year, my ladies' group met at this lake property for our annual get together. As always, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay there. The amenities and appearance of the rental are accurately represented in the rental listing. Everything was clean and kept in excellent condition. The house is spacious and well decorated with comfortable furniture. The kitchen is big and well equipped. This property is lakefront with a beautiful view of the lake and easy access to the dock. The owner is always helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this rental. It is a great gathering place for a family gathering (large or small), or for a group of friends.

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving at your beautiful home. It was extremely clean and the furnishings were beautiful. The Kitchen had everything needed for cooking! The dock and lake views were awesome. We are planning on renting again next Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful family vacation!

I had the pleasure of spending a day at this lake house. One of my favorite people in the entire world was celebrating his birthday here. I was so focused on the occasion that I gave little consideration to where we would actually be. When I pulled into the driveway, I was impressed by the beauty of the house, the lawn, and the lake. Once inside, I was even more impressed. The interior was straight out of a publication entitled something like "Extraordinary Lake House." The finishings, the furnishings, and the architecture was absolutely beautiful. I was so grateful for the opporunity to spend the day there - the house added another layer of meaning to the occasion.

Can't say enough great things about our time at the lake house. Only an hour-and-a-half outside the city, but truly felt like a world away. The house is beautiful, spacious and perfect for sharing. We had 9 in our group and never once felt crowded. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to trade the hustle and bustle of Atlanta for some honest-to-goodness peace and quiet in a gorgeous setting.

I took my husband and a group of friends to celebrate his 40th birthday and we had a blast! The house is beautiful, everything was very clean, the kitchen is perfect for entertaining! Besides that the house is extremely comfortable for a group of people (in our case we were 10) to relax and have a great time - not to mention the comfy beds! Everyone said they had a good night sleep. :) Congratulations to the owners for having such a cozy and modern home! Oh... don't miss relaxing and watching the stars at night by the water. Wonderful Family Vacation Home

Our family of 14 enjoyed a memorable Memorial Day in this lovely home. The grandchildren loved the bunk room and the adults appreciated having bedrooms and baths on all three floors. The kitchen was well equipped and with the gas grill just a few steps away on the deck, meal preparation was easy and enjoyable. One of our favorite activities was lounging on the dock and watching the children swim. Beautiful views of the lake from almost every room in the home!

Our stay at this property was excellent. This was our second visit to this rental property, and our group plans to return again next year. Everything was just as nice, or even nicer, than it was represented by the owner. The house is new, spacious, well-furnished, and attractively decorated. The view to the lake is outstanding. This house is lakefront, situated on a very peaceful cove, with easy access to the dock and lake. The kitchen is big, well-equipped, and easily accommodated our large group. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the mattresses are excellent. The owner was very accessible and helpful in making our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this lake house.

Our stay here at Lake Oconee was GREAT! The house was fabulous and very accomodating. Our family was very pleased with our visit and we are looking forward to going again. Our stay at the property was wonderful! It was more than we expected. The owners were very helpful as well. We had a family reunion with 12 adults and 3 kids and we had the best time. The view from the house along with the dock access made it a wonderful home! We were able to rent a boat and have a chance to see the rest of the lake as well. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

This is a beautiful new home. The view was so spectacular from the dock and even from the great room. I can't believe you actually have lake views from four out of the five bedrooms. Beautiful "glass wall" you have in the family room. The kitchen was excellent and the enormous island worked perfectly for us. The area was so quiet and peaceful. We are definitively coming back for another family gathering..... Thank you so much!
