This exclusive villa is located in the prestigious Mauna Lani Terraces, part of the 5 Star, Eco-friendly Mauna Lani Resort property. The suite has 1500 sq. ft. with two separate master suites and 500 sq. ft. of lanai. The villa is trimmed in Honduras Mahogany and has beautiful new hardwood and travertine marble floors throughout. There is a 24' high vaulted ceiling in the living room & it is furnished with handmade carpets , antiques, and original artwork. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare a tropical gourmet meal, which you then get to enjoy while seated at the hardwood table out on the main lanai as the sun gently sets into the Pacific.
You will be 200 steps from the beach and have access to your own private Beach Club. Makaiwa Bay is home of the "Best Snorkleing Beach on the Big Island". In addition there is Scuba Diving, Sunset and Whale Watching Cruises, as well as guided Eco-kayak tours. Enjoy Mauna Lani's famous Francis H. Brown golf complex, which includes two 18 hole courses. You are walking distance to a well appointed gym, beachfront yoga classes, historic paths, historic fish ponds, pristine white sand beaches, and an extensive tennis facility. - Private beach is 100 yards from your front door leading to Makaiwa Bay which is home to pristine coral reefs and some of the best snorkelling and scuba diving in Hawaii. We just Stayed over the Christmas Holidays and I Loved it! Family Loved it ! Great accomadations in a superb setting. The view is 100% accurate too. We just loved the short walk to either the Resort/restaurants or mutiple Beaches. The place was clean with nice decor, And the Owner , Michael , was so helpful as well as the manager/House keeper, Kathy. She kept the place very clean. We hope to stay there again and already have told some friends. Thanks!!! Jim Highland Park Il

I've been reluctant to write this review in fear of less availability and higher rates i the future for this amazing unit. Everything written about this unit is written modestly - it is better! We stayed during the beginning of October and were so sad to leave after only 4 days. If we had it to do over again, we would stay put! Everything about this unit, this area, the Beach Club, and the complex exceeded our expectations. Michael, thank you! We will be back.

I stayed here in October 2011 and absolutely loved it. The condo is beautiful and spacious with very comfortable beds and a fantastic view. I loved the large lanai and we found ourselves eating most of our meals there, while watching the sunsets. The pool was large and quiet and clean and the private beach pristine. A great place to snorkel or kayak with rentals available. There are lovely walking trails along the ocean, which take you either past the golf course, or along the beach in front of the nearby hotels. This also leads to several beachside restaurants, all with the same stunning views! There is also a lovely shopping center with restaurants, a grocery store and boutiques a 5 minute walk up the road. I would highly recommend this beautiful vacation home to my friends and family!

Mauna Lani is absolutely beautiful. The million dollar view from an open air patio is breath taking. The suite is palatial, decorated with eastern influence. The king size beds are to die for so comfy. A poolside barbecue area can be reserved for outdoor entertaining. A short walk takes you to a lovely groomed beach where you can go snorkeling,rent a paddle board, or take a sunset cruise. Everthing was pristine and perfect. I would love to come back again.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay in this condo in mid October 2011. It is gorgeous in every way,well apponted furnishings,very comfortable beds with high end linens,top end appliances as well as everything you might need to cook a gourmet meal to serve on the lanai at sunset! We found it easy to get to from the airport and has numerous local shops and golf courses within a short distance away. The facilties outside such as the pool,hot tub and spa area are large and well maintained as is the condo itself. The gardens surrounding the complex are amazing. The views are stunning very peaceful and relaxing. This will certainly be on our list for a return visit and soon I hope! Thank you to the owners for sharing your piece of paradise it is truly something very special! I have already recommended this condo to family and friends without any hesitation.......don't forget to try the Ruth Chris Steakhouse while you are there!

We have stayed at the Mauna Lani Terrace many times over the past 10 years. This unit is first class, very well appointed with a wonderful lanai and ocean view. All the furnishings are lovely. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could want. We felt like we hit the jackpot with such a gorgeous condo and at a much lower price than booking through the hotel. Cathy, the onsite property manager, was extremely helpful. We look forward to returning.
