Come to Keystone and enjoy our mountain retreat. Tenderfoot Lodge offers all you need for a wonderful and memorable mountain getaway. We are located in Keystone at the Mountain House base area. We have spectacular views of the slopes/lifts, so you can be first in line when you see the lifts running!
COMPLETE RENOVATION finished right before the 2012 ski season. OUR UNIT is an over-sized, immaculate, SMOKE-Free 2 bedroom/2 bath with all new decor and two private decks. It has extra space in the living areas, which lends to a very relaxing vacation.
The master suite has a brand new queen bed, full private bath with a deep soaking tub, TV, and clock radio. The second bedroom has a brand new queen bed with a brand new twin bunk on top. It also has a 23" flat-screen TV and a clock radio. The second full bathroom is shared with the main living area. There are cots available upon request.
The family room has a brand new queen sofa-sleeper, TV, VCR, DVD,I-home and a gas fireplace. The unit has movies and board games for your enjoyment. The dining area seats 6 and the extra-large kitchen is fully equipped. The condo also has a washer and dryer in the unit.
TENDERFOOT LODGE provides two undesignated parking spaces in the underground heated parking garage. There are luggage carts and elevators for ease in unloading your belongings to the unit. There are two hot tubs and a sun deck with two gas grills for you to use while unwinding and retelling the adventures of the day. Other amenities include a common lodge area with overstuffed couches, a stone fireplace, HUGE screen TV, and restrooms. Each unit has a private ski locker outside of their unit for ski storage during your stay.
Tenderfoot Lodge is a luxury complex built in the lodgepole design which lends itself to the "mountain feel" you want. Located along the Snake River, 200 yards from the lifts, it's an easy walk to the "Mountain House" base area where you can find the Argentine and Peru ski lifts, day care, ski school, and the ski rental areas. There is a pedestrian/bike path right behind the complex that runs from the village to the gondola, to River Run or all the way to Vail! Easy walk to lots of dining also.
If you like to hop around to different ski areas, A-Basin is 5 minutes away, Copper and Breckenridge are 20 minutes away, Vail/BeaverCreek are 40ish minutes away. If you're not a skier, Lake Dillon, The Silverthorne Outlet Malls, City Market grocer, and movie theatres are within 10 minutes. DIA is 80 miles away.
Since we are located alongside the Snake River, it's a perfect summer destination as well! Enjoy fly-fishing, golfing, biking, hiking and much more in the wonderful majestic mountains of Colorado. Come back in the summer for another truly wonderful and memorable mountain getaway! Summer rates are much lower and it's a beautiful time of year in the mountains with so much to do! Ask about the Keystone Wine Festival or the beer festivals. Lots going on in the summer.

Why the Owner Chose Mountain House, Tenderfoot Lodge
We liked this location because it's an easy walk to the slopes. The warm garage parking and elevators were a big plus in our decision-making. The Mountain House base area is just a quieter, more relaxed area of the mountain. It's just beautiful up here, winter and summer.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love the fact that it's close enough to the base that we can all meet back in the condo for lunch. We keep the condo very clean and equipped for us and our guests. The Snake River is right behind the lodge that holds 12"-16" trout. A short walk to the ice-skating area. Lots of hiking. Bike paths right outside your door. I know you'll love it.

My family of five had a wonderful time staying at this condo. It was immaculate from top to bottom; very clean and beautifully decorated. It was also well stocked with everything we needed and more. I loved the big, thick bath towels and the super comfortable mattress, and the extra soft sheets and memory foam pillows were an added bonus. The location was perfect; we just had a short walk to and from the lifts everyday. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking in Keystone, as everything about this place is perfect!

My family loved all the updates. The place was really really nice. Can't beat the quality of the place, especially for the price. There was all the little things too that you seem to forget to bring, like paper plates, sandwhich bags, plenty of trash bags and paper towels. We will definitely be staying here again next year!
