An Excellent Place to Stay!

The studio at the Little Red House is cozy, comfortable, clean and quiet. It is perfect for one person on vacation or on business. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker that work very well but it is only 6 blocks from Irving Street where there are many different restaurants--Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian, American, and Organic, so eating out is an easy option. Golden Gate park is within walking distance and there is easy public transport elsewhere. Sally, the hostess, is a wonderfully warm person.
Owner response:All our guests are our family that day. We enjoy meeting people from around the world; it seems that the world has come to us. Thank you for your kind words. Sally

On a recent vacation to San Francisco, I stayed at this sweet little gem. It was charming, and very clean, and the size was perfectly cozy for one person. With the bustling 9th and Irving Street activity a short walking distance away, and the #6 bus line directly across the street, it was easy to get around and explore the city, but set off enough in a quiet, safe neighborhood where I could return at the end of the day and catch some peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again, without a doubt!
Owner response:Dear Eileen: Thank you so much for your kind words! You were a wonderful guest and we look forward to seeing you again. Sally and Family.

I just stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time---the location was great for getting around by bus to anywhere in San Francisco, and the room was just right for one person. It is close to restaurants and shopping. All in all, it was a great experience. Much better than when I have stayed in hotels. I would gladly stay here again. Thank you, Sally, for such a wonderful time!!

This is a nice neighborhood and the property itself is very private and beautifully landscaped. The place has a secluded feel but shops and restaurants are within walking distance and tourist attractions are easy public transit away. My host couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful and was quick to respond to communication inquiries. The room decor is really cute and it's the perfect size for one person, true efficiency with everything you need, including dishes and flatware. The host's request to keep shoes off inside is probably what keeps the place so clean, and there's a great little enclosed entryway with bench, convenient for getting in out of the elements while removing wet outerwear and shoes so as not to track all over the room's clean floor. I was extremely pleased with my overall experience here and the value for money of this charming little guest room.
Owner response:Dear Kimi: Thank you very much for your kind words! You were a wonderful guest. I hope you are enjoying the nice weather back home. Happy holidays! Sally

I stayed for two nights and the room was very nice and clean, just perfect for one person. It is very easy to get around as their is a bus stop right across the street, and lots of restaurants and shopping close by as well as Golden Gate Park. The place was cozy and the bed comfortable. and coffe and tea were included in the room. You do need to remove your shoes, so I would bring warm socks to walk around in. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you very much, Mary
Owner response:Dear Mary: Thank you very much for your nice words about our little guest room. We look forward to seeing you again. Also, thank you for the reminder. I will go get a pair of warm slippers for the room. Happy holidays! Sally
