to our privately owned condo, located on 18th floor @ Royal Garden a "Euro- boutique" Hotel, considered to be the one of the most elegant buildings in Waikiki. It’s called a "LITTLE JEWEL" by many. Hotel is combination of Wyndham Vacation Resort and privately owned condos. It is rated as four star hotel.
Excellent, nice & quiet, less traffic noise location and yet just ½ a block to all buses and trolleys.
Very close to Ala Moana shopping Centre, Convention Centre, Downtown Honolulu, Chinatown, Aloha Tower and University.
Walking distance to many ABC stores, International Market Place, Waikiki and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Centre, restaurants, nightlife and beaches.
De Russy is beautiful, not crowded beach, only 10 minutes easy walk through the beautiful Fort de Russy Park. You can pick-up ripened coconuts, if you are early enough. There is also The Fort de Russy Chapel for those, who like to attend Sunday morning service.
Nice sandy beach, large grassy area, many palm trees for shade, picnic tables, BBQs, racquetball, volleyball and tennis courts.
A handy snack bar at Hale Koa Hotel, nice clean washrooms beside it with changing stall and foot washer are accessible right off the beach.
Our unit is featuring spectacular views from 17 foot private Lanai:
It has partial ocean view to enjoy every Friday night fireworks display at Hilton Hotel.
It has view of the Ala Wai Canal and sport fields to watch the games and canoe races.
It has also beautiful city and mountains view with rainbow display after the rain.
Unit was completely renovated. It has hard wood floor and it is furnished with all brand new furniture. A comfortable King size bed, full size Micro fibre sofa-bed, dining table for four, plenty of dresser storage, 32" flat screen TV, Time Warner Cable, DVD Player, games, Stereo with CD and Radio/Clock.
Unit has FULLY FUNCTIONAL KITCHEN with 20” RANGE with oven, microwave, two refrigerators, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, rice and slow cooker and mixer. All dishes, utensils and cookware are provided. Just everything you need to have a choice to prepare some of your favourite meals or snacks at home.
There is also ironing board and iron for your convenience. Spare linens are provided.
Bathroom is all marble with shower over tub and hair dryer.
FREE High speed Internet connection is on the room, FREE local calls are included.
FREE WiFi is throughout the building.
Very quiet Remote control Split Air Conditioner system and a fan for those who don’t like to have an air conditioner on.
We do have Electronic Key-less Door Lock, so you don’t have to worry about losing the key, having a trouble with it or carrying it with you all the time. Just enter the code.:)
Brand new spacious FREE laundry facility for registered guests is on the 4th floor with coin operated detergent dispenser.
The common areas of Royal Garden are beautifully decorated with Italian granite, a pleasant garden-style outdoor pool, two Saunas, BBQs, brand new FREE Fitness/Gym Centre, Ice machine, 24-hour manned security and friendliest and helpful staff you will ever meet.
Covered parking in the building is extra and it needs to be arranged with Hotel personnel. The fee is $25/day. Public Pay parking is across Olohana Street. Free parking on the Ala Vai from 6pm-7am & all day on Sunday. Metered parking is also on Olohana street.
But remember, there is an excellent bus service on Island of Oahu. No need to rent a car unless you absolutely wish to.
This rental will give you a spotless clean, roomy and very comfortable place with homey feeling and exceptional value.
No need to stay in a "budget" hotel room.

Why the Owner Chose Royal Garden at Waikiki
Since the first time we stayed at Royal Garden few years ago, we always wanted to come back. It is beautifully build hotel with all great amenities, away from busy traffic and yet close to all excitement, only ½ block to all Buses and Trolleys. Very short walk to the beach, stunning views, 24-hour manned security.
As soon as we found out that a unit was for sale, we didn't hesitate at all to take a look. We completely renovated our unit in 2008; put a lot of hard work and our sole into it for our family, our quests and for ourselves to have “Home away from Home”.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio
Location, location, location!!! This was what we loved the most!! No need for a car unless you really want to rent one. Buss service on Oahu is absolutely wonderful!! You will never find it on other Island.
Short 10 minutes easy walk through the beautiful Fort De Russy Park to the nice sandy and not crowded beach called “gathering place”, where people of all nationality from all over the world are gathering. Very short distance to many shopping centres like Ala Moana, Wall-Mart, Ross for Less, Don Quijote store, International Shopping Centre, Waikiki and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Centre, King’s Village, close to downtown Honolulu, Convection Centre and University.
Walking distance to many fast foods and fancy restaurants, offering meals price ranging from $-$$$$. But our studio has full kitchen with 20” range with oven, many other appliances and all utensils needed, just everything you need to have a choice to prepare some of your meals or snacks at home.
In the evening you can take a nice walk on Kalakaua Ave to watch and take a part in all art’s and musical performances and to visit many little stores offering souvenirs.
If too tired to go back to the beach to watch Friday’s night fireworks, just step on your 17’ private Lanai and enjoy the view.
When too tired and ready to rest, you will come home to a nice and very quiet place, to put your feet up on the footrest, watch a little TV, put a nice movie in or listen to CD, relax and have a good night sleep on your comfortable King size bed.

Moving from East to West Coasts, closer and closer to our “dream” spot, we visited Hawaii for the first time in 1987 and fell in love with it. After returning almost every year we finally decided to have a small place of our own for our family, ourselves and our quests.

The Royal Garden condominium unit is bright and welcoming, and the owners have paid great attention to detail which made it so cozy with charming little touches from decorations to cabinetry. It has a full kitchen although we only cooked a few times while on vacation. The unit is centrally and conveniently located in Waikiki; close to great shopping mall Ala Moana and the beautiful clean beach of Fort Derussy Park; also a walking distance to the main streets of Kuhio and Kalakaua where one finds diverse restaurants, shops, and continuous long stretch of Waikiki beach. A BIG plus is the condominium’s location. It is one block from Kuhio St. in a quiet residential neighborhood, therefore we had our privacy away from the hustle & bustle part of Waikiki. Did I already mention that the condo unit is wonderful, bright, friendly, and welcoming? Endless views surround the unit: splendid mountains and Ala Wai canal on the right, Honolulu front and below, and the beach on the left as one stands facing out on the walk-in lanai. We came home early one of the nights and were delighted with views of Honolulu skylights and skyscrapers. My friend and I definitely enjoyed our stay, and we thank you Alfred and Hildegarde for your kind hospitality.

We have been coming to Hawaii for about 11 years now and this unit was the best equipped we have stayed at. The information presented by the owners is totally correct and there are no misleading statements. Upon your arrival you can just tell that this is owned by someone who believes in cleanliness. It is definately their home away from home. I can honestly say there is nothing that we could think of which this unit did not supply, everything from beach chairs, boogie boards to toys for your children. The kitchen is excellantly equipped and the freezer is a definate asset if you do plan to cook a couple of your own meals with the stove provided. The building is extremely quiet and the staff on the Wyndam side of the house are excellent, for any assistance to a condo renter (a rare comodity). We utilized the BBQ area and the Wyndam staff set it up, cleaned up after, all we had to do is show up cook, eat and leave. Through my connections in the Waikiki area, I ascertained that this is one of the safest condo hotels in the Waikiki area. Their Security staff are a definate asset to this hotel, they do an excellant job of taking care of you when you are sleeping. It is close to everything in the Waikiki area and if you choose to venture away you can't get any closer to the bus routes. We have subsequently booked until 2014. We know when people see this review and read others, they will definately want to try it out and we do not want to loose our spot for our future bookings. We believe that Hildegarde and Alfred would definately allow us our return preference. I would recommend this unit to anyone coming over, especially couples and couples with maybe one child (max two). Mahalo Hildegarde and Alfred and see you next year!!!

Would actually rate my experience higher if there wasn't construction happening at the Royal while we were there. As a result of the construction the ice machines and the exercise room were closed. The elevators were difficult to use and there was more noise throughout the day. On the other hand the suite was great. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. We had a small issue and when we emailed the owner they were quick to reply and remedy the situation. The suite has great views which included the Friday night fireworks at the Hilton. Access to Ft DeRussy beach was quick and easy. We used the pool, green space and barbecue area were well maintained and clean. A great place to have a great holiday!

The condo had everything we needed for our 3 week stay in Waikiki. The location is excellent; close to beaches, buses and great restaurants. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives and would not hesitate to stay again should we return to Waikiki.
