Located in the majestic Wildernest area between the 4 major Colorado ski resorts of Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin (~35 minutes from Vail) is a wonderful get away - the Bear's Den sleeps up to 6 comfortably and affords every amenity. Fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, 1 full bath, 2 bedrooms and comfortable living area make this a great vacation retreat for any season. Relax in front of the stone-faced wood burning fireplace in the Bear's Den after a fun day of skiing, hiking or fishing.
Sleeping arrangements include a new king-size bed in the master, two new twin beds in the guest bedroom and a new pullout queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.
Enjoy a short and easy drive to the ski resorts or relax and take the FREE Summit Stage shuttle line. For Nordic skiing you can find numerous trails throughout the area as well. Don't forget about the many restaurants and incredible Outlet stores just minutes away.
At the end of the day you can unwind and enjoy the clubhouse located next door. Opened in December 2003, the clubhouse offers an indoor heated pool, three hot tubs, sauna, racquetball, weight room, pool tables, ping pong, video games, fireplace, leather couches, TV and bay windows with amazing views! The large upstairs social area with a complete kitchen is available to reserve and rent to groups for parties or family reunions.
Please note that pets are NOT allowed (HOA rule) and PLEASE NO SMOKING.
