"The Cottage" is the perfect spot to escape the real world and the hassles of everyday life. It is an oasis of tranquility where you can just chill out and relax. Swing in a hammock with a cold drink and a good book or just snooze away the day with one of Marty's famous Rum Punches.

Take a dip in the 50' crystal clear fresh water pool, wander up the beach for a 'beer' and lunch at The Beach Club. Perhaps take one of the kayaks out for a while or use the 'Silver Rivet' and motor out to Petit Cay for a picnic on this deserted little island. Want to exercise? Go for a bike ride.

If you want to be really spoilt come and stay in the main house where we have three beautiful double rooms, phone for details.

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2005

Angie and Marty retired to Great Harbour Cay in 2005 after a chance chat with fellow Brits at British Airways check in at Nassau Airport. Angie spent 33 years as a Cabin Services Director with BA and Marty has had a very varied career including owning and running two top class Restaurants in the North of England. After spending nearly four years completely renovating the house, pool and gardens we love to share our lovely home with friends both new and old.

Why the Owner Chose Great Harbour Cay

"Carriearl" had been empty for ten years and as one of our Native friends said ' Marty, Angie, dis house bin waitin for you! Only you two had the vision to do what you dun'. What more can you say?

    • I have been flying to the Bahamas for 6 years and Angie and Marty's place is the best find ever. Beautiful waterfront facility...great people...two minute drive from an airport of entry, and one of the few out island accommodations with a large fresh water pool. Bicycles and kayaks are available for guests to use. Don't miss Angie and Marty's Carriearl beach house. You won't be disapointed!

    • The cottage at Carriearl is a hidden treasure in the Bahamas.The accomadations were above excellent and the food was unbelievable at ever setting..Angie and Marty bend over backwards to your every need and must say the beaches were awesome.what a great location!!.would have loved to stay for 6 months or more..will definitely come back very soon as Angie and Marty are my friends forever.THANKS for a great vacation..
