Sea Peace!
Sea Peace has one bedroom downstairs, with an elegant four-poster queen bed and ensuite ¾ bath, with a private patio. The garage and laundry are also on the ground floor. Upstairs there’s the living room (with an ocean view!), along with the kitchen, second bathroom and bedroom. For evenings or rainy days there’s an HD TV with Blu-ray DVD with surround sound, stereo and wireless internet too. The overall décor of this home is stylish and graceful. The kitchen is nice, bright and fully-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. There’s a full-size range and fridge and a dishwasher, as well as a breakfast bar that seats 4 too. The bathroom upstairs is a full bath, with tub shower. The upstairs bedroom is also very elegant with a queen bed. The living room is furnished with two futons – one full and one queen size, so Sea Peace sleeps up to eight (8) people total.
Enjoy the comfort and convenience of Long Beach! Sea Peace is near the Bolstad beach approach, an easy walk to beach activities or downtown. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are all close by, plus lots of things for the kids to do. There’s miniature golf right across the street, and the arcade and rides are just a couple blocks away. The Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and, of course fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve.
There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula, all 26 plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.

My wife and I just completed a 9 night stay at Sea Peace. We have been traveling to the Long Beach Peninsula for 2 or 3 times a year for nearly 30 years. This was by far the nicest place we have ever stayed at on the peninsula. We will definitely be back. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The pictures and description are VERY accurate. The kitchen was well supplied with absolutely everything anyone would need for a comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable. Games, books, DVD, and television would help fill in on a stormy day but we were too busy to take advantage of a lot of that. It truly felt like we were at home away from home. The unit is obviously owned by someone that is proud of their unit and has a good understanding of what people would need for an enjoyable stay at the beach. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone that wants a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a good restaurant in town, the Lost Roo is highly recommended. Try their Smoked Salmon Macaroni and Cheese or their fish tacos. Castaways (one block from this unit) is also very good. Try the egg rolls at Chen's Chinese Restaurant - you'll be spoiled. There are so many things to do on the Peninsula. Playing on the beach is the most obvious but visitors shouldn't miss a chance to visit Oysterville and Ledbetter State Park at the north end of the peninsula. Marsh's Free Museum is a quirky place for a visit. The World Kite Museum and Hall of Fame is also very interesting. North Head Lighthouse is very photogenic and time for a quick trip across the river to the historic town of Astoria should be allotted. Be sure to explore the small towns of Ilwaco and Chinook (check out the bead store if that is your thing) on the way.
Owner response:Thank you so very much for your kind words. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Sea Peace. It is our home away from home, our refuge, our delight and we are happy to share it. There is nothing like ocean air and a walk on the beach... it soothes the soul and revives the spirit. We hope you might consider Sea Peace again on your next visit. Respectfully yours, The Crosbys.
