Paddle Inn is located on the protected north side of Drummond Island. Boaters may launch their boats 2 miles away and easily store their boat and trailer on the property. Kayakers may leave directly from the cottage and paddle to the small off shore islands in Sturgeon bay or pack up their kayaks and put in on the open waters of the south shore. Drummond offers many opportunities for exploring different types of shoreline by kayak, wonderful rock formations on foot. There is a short hiking trail and a beach at the Township park a short paddle from the house or 2 miles by road.
The cottage is fully equipped and has a wood stove as well as electric heat for chilly days. There are 2 decks with picnic table for outdoor dining offering extraordinary views of the North Channel and the small islands in the bay.
