My college age son and I enjoyed our three night stay. This unit is an amazing value. Unit is small but everything was very well kept and had all we needed. Perfect for 2-3 people on a budget. We bought groceries and cooked in the unit and made lunches for the slopes. Very convenient to the town of Winter Park and to the Winter Park / Mary Jane resorts. We chose to drive to the base of Mary Jane each morning, which was incredibly convenient -- were able to park very close, etc -- and avoid the crowds at Winter Park. Another option would have been the shuttle which stops right by the unit. We went to to Fraser Valley Recreation Center one night ($10/each) and had a great time. Be sure to eat at Hernando's pizza one night too.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We enjoyed our stay here - great in-town location, near restaurants, bars, and the ski area. We could walk to the bus that runs to the ski area and then after skiing, we could walk on over to the hot tub. Condo has all that you need - we cooked our own breakfasts and lunches. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We would most certainly stay here again. Although it is not a high-end condo, it is all that you need - quiet, comfy, warm, 1st floor so no shuffling up stairs w/ ski gear.... I would recommend this property for sure!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a great little condo. Very clean and comfortable.Close to town and dining. Absolutely perfect for the three of us. Everything you could possibly need in kitchen for cooking. With todays economy we needed an affordable option. We found it! Now maybe we can afford to keep skiing! We would recommend this property to anybody with a small party of two to four people.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is our second stay here for skiing. The condo is clean, comfortable, centrally located, quiet, and cozy. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need to prepare a good breakfast. We also cooked a dinner or two. We used the fireplace nearly every night after skiing. It's a perfect place for a couple. Mary Jane Base is less than 15 minutes away. The unit is on the first floor, so you don't have to tromp up a flight of steps after a hard day of skiing. We plan on a repeat stay next ski season!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I along with our two young boys enjoyed our stay in this cozy condo. We had all the linens and kitchen utensils that we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our family enjoyed the rec center with the indoor pool and hot tubs after our days on the mountain. The location was great with the shuttle stop right in front of the condo that dropped us off at the ski resort. We liked that there was area around the condo for the boys to go outside and play without having to worry about a busy road. Make sure to bring a towel for the rec center because they charge a small fee $1 to use theirs. I would have liked to have a dishwasher in the unit because we ate in the condo for most of our breakfast and dinners. Also, my husband and I are use to a bigger bed so the double bed felt a little small but overall the condo was a great value. Thanks for helping us have a nice family ski vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

CLEAN, CONVENIENT, COZY/COMFY...not only does the ski bus stop directly in front of the building, you can bike, hike or snowshoe in various directions right from the parking lot, as well as walk to restaurants etc. The owner is most accommodating, ensuring you WILL enjoy your time spent here, and like me, you will WANT to come back again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car.

My family needed a quite escape from the brutal Texas heat. We found that at Hi Country Hause. The owner, George, made sure that we were able to arrive and get into our condo without any problems. As first timers, he also gave us several ideas of things to do that were family friendly and fun. The condo was very well kept and was equipped with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay. The Frazer river is within 100 feet or less from the front door of the condo. We were able to enjoy the sounds of the river at night with the windows open. There are several places to do grocery shopping, or enjoy a quite evening dining with every ethnic resteraunt imaginiable. The cabin is also within 45 minute driving distance to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park. There we saw our first wild moose and snapped several pictures. Overall, it was an awesome experienced that my family had and will last forever in our memories and photos.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
