We have a beautiful newer 3600 square foot home with two king master bedroom suites in Old Town Park City. It's large size and location make it ideal for families, friends, or other small groups. It has a large open kitchen with double ovens and an island cooktop. One bedroom has 3 queen beds with a sitting area with a large TV and Playstation III. There is ethernet and a wireless internet connection available throughout the home. There is game room adjacent to the heated 2-car garage with a ping pong table, electronic dart board, and basketball toss game heated with a gas fireplace. Relax outside in the new (June 2011) salt water (chlorine free) hot tub or by the fireplaces after a day at the ski resorts with Main Street restaurants, shopping, and nightlife all just a 2 blocks away.

For those familiar with Old Town in Park City, our home sits in elevation just above Grappa and the Wasatch Brew Pub (Restaurants on Main Street) both just a five minute walk away. The street location is near the intersection of Hillside Ave and Prospect Street and just off Marsac Avenue which goes up to Silverlake and Empire Lodge in Deer Valley.

Walking down to Main Street and the free Trolley requires only one set of stairs from the Sandridge to Grant Ave just off Main Street.

If you are walking we recommend using a shortcut between Sandridge and Grant Ave (not shown on the map) and don't recommend walking along Hillside in the winter. The Transit Center is near the roundabout along Marsac which is just a little closer to the house. If you do walk from the house to the Town Lift it is a nice walk and all downhill. Uphill at the end of the day you would definitely want to use the trolley but have lots of bars and restaurants along the way.

The Town Lift is located near Butchers Restaurant at 751 Main St Park City, UT 84060

Year Purchased: 2003

Why the Owner Chose Old Town Chalet

I like to ski and loved Park City. I ended up moving from Laguna Beach California into my rental home for almost 2 years. I now live in Emigration Canyon about 30 minutes from Park City

The Unique Benefits at this House

Enjoy walking to Main Street in Old Town Park City which is the main pedestrian, shopping, and dining location in the area.

Owner's Map of Old Town Chalet

I live in the SLC area and have owned this home for 6 years now. I enjoy sharing with friends and have had many repeat guests.

Great big home right there near everything!

We had 2 families and had a great time. There are 2 big master bedrooms and a bunch of beds and rooms for the teenagers and kids. We found a hidden trail that goes straight down to the Wasatch Brew Pub on Main Street right behind the houses and only 100 yards away. Loved the the big open kitchen as we cooked every night and the ping pong table in the basement was a big hit with the kids.

What a house!!!!

Website photos do not do justice to this property - house is so much better in person. Just got back from staying there for 1 week - so convenient to Main Street Park City shops, restaurants and free bus transportation. Property mmt. was very responsiive to our requests and we appreciated their immediate attention to our questions/concerns. Only drawback (for summer rentals) was the lack of folding chairs and a small table for the porches for sitting outside. All in all, we would encourage anyone interested in a wonderful rental to consider this house. There are lots of trails to explore by bike or hiking. Park City museum covers the history of the town - mining, skiing, theater, etc. Ghost tour of the town was very informatiive and entertaining. Silly Sunday market had lots of food, crafts, produce, etc. Tanger Outlet mall is nearby for items forgotten at home. Olympic Park has summer fun rides. All in all, something for everyone.

Owner response:Thank you for your great feedback . I have added 3 folding chairs to the front porch per your suggestion. Thanks Again! John
