UPDATES THROUGHOUT! Kitchen--cabinets, countertops, breakfast bar, appliances, lighting. Both baths completely redone as well (tile, sinks/toilets, the works). Additionally, updated doors & trim throughout. All new flooring fall 2009--carpeting and tile.
Beautiful, comfortable, two bedroom, two bathroom condominium on Nottingham Lake with a view of Beaver Creek mountain. This ground-floor unit is just steps away from the heated outdoor pool, two large hot tubs, and tennis courts which are available to you at no additional charge as our guests. The unit is individually-owned and not part of a rental pool.
Close proximity to Nottingham Lake is a treat! In the winter, the lake is a great place to go ice skating and the bike path is always cleared of snow for walkers or runners. In the summer, enjoy the bike path, play volleyball on the sand courts, go fishing, take a spin in a canoe or a ride in a paddleboat. There's a great playground as well for the kids.
You will enjoy the sunny, south-facing views of Beaver Creek ski area from the living room. This unit is tastefully decorated in mountain style, earth-tone furnishings. The master bedroom features a king bed, cable TV and its own private full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a bunk bed and cable TV, with a full bathroom in the hall. The living room has a leather sofa, a microsuede rocker/recliner, wall-mounted flat screen TV, and a convenient gas fireplace. Additionally there is a dining table that seats six adults comfortably.
The Town of Avon bus stop is at the entrance to the condominium complex with short routes to Vail and Beaver Creek Ski Resorts. The new Riverfront Gondola is just a 2-minute shuttle ride away! Our condo complex has private shuttle vans to take you from your doorstep to the base of the Westin Gondola. Busses also stop throughout the town of Avon for shopping and restaurants.
The Avon recreation center and library are just a short walk from the condominium. The town of Avon has great restaurants, a large City Market and WalMart, a variety of sporting goods and clothing shops and all the charm of a Colorado mountain town.
This is a Non-Smoking Unit and the Condo Association does not allow pets. If needed, there is a management company onsite for cleaning and maintenance needs.

A very pleasant stay at this Avon condo
I rented the Condo our family's spring break ski/snowboarding trip. We had a very pleasant stay! The description of the unit on this web site is very accurate. It's clean and cozy. The pool area is literally just outside the unit. ALso it's a plus that the unit is on the ground floor - so you can part right outside the door. The shuttle offered by the BCW works really good by dropping skiers at the Westin condola. The owner is GREAT to deal with. She is very prompt & very responsive. She anwsered all my questions and give me thorough instructions. It made me very comfortable to rent this unit.

About the owner: We live in the Denver area, and have loved the Vail Valley since moving to Colorado in 1990. We are avid skiers and in 2001 achieved a long time goal of buying our own condo in the mountains so we could stop the 'Day Skier' grind. Now we have two daughters who are learning to ski as well. We use our condo quite a bit ourselves so don't book too many rentals. We have pretty much updated the entire unit over the past 8 years and are very proud of our little mountain getaway.
Why the Owner Chose Avon:
We liked the Beaver Creek West condo complex because it has a great pool, two hot tubs and tennis courts onsite. Our unit is very close to these amenities, and is on the ground floor which is key for us-- easy unloading and loading of the car! Avon is a great little town just a few minutes down the road from Vail. So we enjoy the Vail and Beaver Creek fanfare and go home to our quiet condo in Avon.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We love Nottingham lake which is very close to our complex. It's so beautiful and calming. There's a wonderful bike path that circles the lake and takes you down along the Eagle river if you're so inclined. We also like the Town of Avon busses-- so easy and convenient to ski at Beaver Creek. We walk to the Lake Street bus stop and in a few minutes are up at Beaver Creek Village. We love the local restaurants-- Bob's, Pazzos, Blue Moose Pizza, and there's a great little breakfast burrito joint up in BC Village at the bus stop. Also, who can forget the freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies that are passed out regularly in Beaver Creek!
