Crystal is the ninth largest inland lake in Michigan, approximately 2 ½ miles wide and 8 miles long. Extensive child-friendly shallow shorelines eventually lead to deep water fishing, up to 165’ in some areas.
Just minutes from The Cottage, here in Benzie County are 57 inland lakes, 60 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, 8 golf courses, and numerous biking and hiking trails. Shop, dine or go antiquing in the surrounding quaint little towns of Frankfurt, Beulah, Empire and Benzonia. Take in a professional baseball game at the Beach Bums park in nearby Traverse City.
Or just relax at The Cottage on Crystal with 75’ of private beach, a mooring for your boat, or use the row boat that’s here for you. The family and pet friendly cottage offers a warm tongue and groove pine interior with a fully equipped kitchen, full bath, living room, and 2 bedrooms. The nostalgic 50’s/art deco interior remains free from TV and other electronic distractions at our guests’ request. Spend quality family time with games and reading materials provided.
Enjoy the lake views from the living room’s floor to ceiling windows, or from the front patio, or while roasting marshmallows at the fire pit area alongside The Cottage. Wildlife sightings (including eagles & deer), colorful sunsets and more will be yours at The Cottage on the north shore of Crystal Lake.
