The home is located on Pine Island off Stringfellow Road on the northern limit of St. James City.
This unique canal front property with private pool is a spacious 2000 sq. ft.under air with three bedrooms and three baths. The beautifully furnished master bedroom suite with private patio overlooking the pool, has a new king size bed, walk-in closet and large master bath. The left side of the house has a second bedroom with two new extra long twin beds and private bath. The large third bedroom and bath also have a view of the canal and the pool.
The house has a lovely living room, dining area with breakfast bar, which opens to a huge family/entertainment room, furnished with comfortable sectional and chairs….. a perfect place to relax and enjoy cable TV, games, or just watching the stars come out over the canal.
The modern, spacious kitchen makes food preparation easy and inviting for simple or gourmet chefs and comes equipped with new dishes, glasses, utensils, pots & pans, coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher. The brand new washer & dryer are located thru the kitchen in the garage.
The beautiful solar heated pool can be enjoyed as warm as you like with out any expense compliments of mother nature. The boat dock offers direct boat access to Manatee Bay and the Gulf, wonderful fishing of our dock just steps from the house. Launch your canoe or kayak from our rear deck. The rental comes complete with bikes for enjoyment of the unique Stringfellow bike path.

Year Purchased: 2007
We had hoped to retire in two years, but the financial situation changed for the worse after we purchased the home. We decided that it would be better to keep working for a few more years and rent our home out part of the year.
Why the Owner Chose St. James City
We chose Pine Island as a vacation and future retirement home because we were loved the fact that it was part of the Florida Protected Wild Life Reserve.
The Unique Benefits of this House
While swimming in our inground solar heated pool, almost 12 months a year, we can sometimes see a mother manatee swim safely up and down our canal with her baby. We don't ever have the nuisance of the invasion of college kids during spring or winter break!
