New Year's Eve Week is available. We are looking to book the entire week at this time. Thanksgiving has been rented for 2009, but is available for 2010. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time it is booked if you are looking at 2010. JULY and August 2010 can be booked now. July and August at this point rent for five nights, minimum, and if you rent for a week, you not only get a slightly lower rate, you get one night free. For 2010, Saturday to Saturday rentals in July are $400 per night, get the 7th night free. For August, the rate is $450 per night, Saturday to Saturday, and one night is free. If you book for two weeks, you get two nights free either month. Weeks in July and August have gone for $500 per night numerous times over the last five years, and we only had two nights vacant in July this year and about the same in August, so $400 is a "Recession Buster" :). Email for more info. With past experience, booking this far in advance will require a portion of the deposit to be non-refundable. NEED A COMPANY RETREAT? WE CAN TAKE UP TO 8-10 OF YOU...Our fridge can hold a lot of beer and wine so you can really get stuff accomplished. WE HAVE TWO HOT TUBS, INCLUDING THE LARGEST COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION TUB FOR PRIVATE USE. THE LARGEST PRIVATE TUB ON THE SEA RANCH(that we know of). This house is perfect for one large family, or two medium size families, or three small families :). WE ARE ON THE OCEAN SIDE OF HIGHWAY 1. NO CROSSING THE BUSY HIGHWAY TO GET TO THE WATER. We can accomodate up to 10 people. Our rates are from $300 to $500 per night, with lower rates available for mid week rentals off season, and weekly rentals get one night free. YOU CANNOT FIND A HOUSE THAT RENTS FOR $2,500-$3,000 PER WEEK DURING THE SUMMER IN A COASTAL COMMUNITY THAT SLEEPS TEN PEOPLE THAT IS AS NICE AS OURS (that we know of)...unless of course you are looking to rent Jed Clampit's old place, and we heard they had a rodent infestation last March...Pee Wee's accomodations (Play House) can sleep ten, but that is one person in the house and 9 on the front lawn.
OUR PLACE: The main house has a Master (one king) with private bath, a second bedroom (queen) with shower a short hallway away, and the upstairs loft has two twins. In a pinch , a built-in reading seat can double as a twin.
The cottage has a queen and a bunk with a twin uptop and a full below, and it's own seperate bathroom with shower. Please see the AVAILABILITY CALENDAR at the bottom of this page for dates not rented ... with the upstairs loft, two couples with a few children total can have a VERY comfortable stay, with the children upstairs and/or in the cottage.
PETS ARE WELCOME AT OUR SEA RANCH HOUSE. WE ONLY ASK THAT THEY GET A TRIP TO THE GROOMER OR A 1/2 HOUR WITH THE GARDEN HOSE OR BATHTUB AT YOUR PLACE BEFORE BRINGING THEM. HELPS KEEP THE PLACE FRESH AND CLEAN. ALSO, WE ASK THAT YOU PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET ON THE SEA RANCH GROUNDS AND IN OUR YARD.
The house is on the OCEAN SIDE of Highway 101, is wind protected, and is perfectly situated to afford a blue water ocean view from all ground floor rooms (except bathrooms and cottage) and also has one other unique characteristic... make that two... we have the LARGEST HOT TUB ON THE SEA RANCH, and we have a second, smaller hot tub in the court yard area for a more intimate dip.
The large hot tub is on the deck facing the blue water views and open meadow area... truly spectacular on a night with a full moon. We are protected on even the most windy days, yet a chardonnay glass walk away from the breaking waves. PLEASE CHECK THE CALENDAR. IT IS UP TO DATE MOST OF THE TIME. Our Guest Book was "walked-off" with a year ago, and we just recently put in a new book, and even though we thought about it, we didn't chain it to the coffee table. I bet the gushy writing found within the old one was so complimentary and adoring, that maybe a guest mistook it for a smutty paperback love story they had brought with them. Though I don't think we have found the one they left in trade, and I for one have been looking... :)
